Booked this tour for my last day in Karatu. The operator calls me at 10pm the evening to cancel the tour. He said that the money that I paid viator, had not yet reflected in his account. So I asked if the money is in your account the next day, will the tour continue - he then proposes the day of my departure, which I obviously informed him that I couldn't do. Then I ask about my refund, and he says to contact viator. The next morning at 6am I am on the phone to viator to complain and ask about my refund. They put me on hold, to verify with the operator. The operator then tells them that he had not received my details and could not plan the tour. Thus they should email for a refund. 2 days later, viator emails me saying they can't refund mr because now the operator tells then that hr proposed the day after my booking, but I never got back to him! Lies! Mind you, i dont get the point of booking g a specific day if it's going to be changed at the last minute at my inconvenience. So here I sit, with 250 USD loss that I apparently will not be getting back. This is the equivalent of stealing!
