Overview

With its varied environment and breathtaking vistas, the Machame Route to Mount Kilimanjaro will test your grit, fortitude and physical fitness. On your way, you will pass through a beautiful rainforests where colobus monkeys live, through heath and moorland with its numerous ferns until you arrive at the spectacular icy peaks at the top. This 7-day trip's various altitudes provide a favourable atmosphere for acclimatisation, increasing your chances of reaching the summit. Tents will be used for the Machame Route's overnight stays.
