Yari was an excellent tour guide. She was kind, knowledgeable, and pleasant. Would highly recommend this tour with her. She had the best recommendations for local restaurants as well! One place she recommended, we ended up going to every day.

Go for early morning hike as it gets scorching hot later. Carry water. And have fun in the pool. Carry snorkeling masks to see the beautiful and colorful fish. Most fun 3-4 hours of the vacation.

This was an amazing hike. Our tour guide, Xiovan, was great! Knowledgeable in telling us about the island, provided lemonade and snacks during the hike, and made sure everyone was comfortable at the pace we were going. Doing this hike in the morning was good because we beat the heat/sun, saw the sunrise, and got to the natural pool before it was crowded/had it to ourselves. One part of the hike is a little on the steeper side, but is you are moderately active, it shouldn't be a problem. I recommend hiking boots for the trail (3.5 - almost 4 miles total) & water shoes for the natural pool. My sister and I would definitely do this one again.

Waking up before dawn to avoid crowds and have a private tour along the scenic route is so worth it. X is an incredible guide as well.

This was a great start to the day! Great views and swim in the natural pool! Fun activity to do with our 18 and 20 year old kids!

We were looking for a way to visit the Natural Pool as group without having to do a full tour of sites that we had already seen in previous visits to Aruba. This was perfect and we got in a workout with spectacular views of Aruba waking up with us! It was worth getting up early to experience the breathtaking sunrise and have the Natural Pool all to ourselves. There was only one other local family there when we arrived which made it so much nicer than the crowded late-morning and afternoon. It was also great to not be in the heat. We started to feel it going back as the sun rose more, but were pretty much done before it got uncomfortable. We got to spend a good amount of time at the Natural Pool which was absolutely amazing!
Genesis was a great guide. She stopped along the way to tell us about the landscape and local plants and history. The trip back had some uphill climbs that were challenging, but she let us go at our own pace and was careful and aware of our needs and pace.
I would say you need to have a good fitness level to do this trek. Our family ranged in age from 29-57. We are all active adults and we did fine. We felt it a bit the next day, but in a good way! It is rocky, so wear tennis shoes or hiking shoes and bring water shoes for the pool. A hat and long-sleeved UV shirts are recommended. Bring plenty of water as well.
This was very rewarding in many ways. Very glad we did this unique experience!

We did this hike on the last day of our honeymoon and we are so glad we did! Starting out at 6 AM was the best decision we could have made. We got to watch a beautiful sunrise over the ocean and reached the Natural Pool completely ahead of the daytime crowds. The Natural Pool itself is a hidden oasis. Having Yari as our tour guide made the experience even better. She was incredibly warm, wonderful, and so informative about the island's history, plants, and ecosystem. She provided us with snorkeling masks, and it was amazing to see all of the different fish swimming in the clear water! Definitely recommend!

We had an incredible hike with Xiovon. This hike was at a medium level for a novice hiker, with a couple of hard spots. We really enjoyed the challenge and seeing the beauty of the Island. We saw incredible views & Xiovon had great stories & information to share. The natural pool was AWESOME! Definitely the highlight of the hike! It was a great workout for us & we would definitely do it again! Bonus: Xiovon showed us a super-delicious local breakfast spot after the hike! It was a 5-STAR morning!!

For people who loves hiking its a great option to combine hiking and pleasure from the natural pool. Great experience. ❤️
Mark_D, May 2026
Genesis was our guide and she was amazing. There are hills to walk up and a sandy area. Today was very windy which made it nice for the hike back. Great experience!

The tour guide, Yari was awesome, knowledgeable and professional. Make the effort to get up early and beat the crowd. It was a very rewarding experience as some sights are out of this world. Highly recommend getting the park conservation ticket through the tour guide, not at the visitor center unless you planning on driving through the park yourself later. Also, bring hiking shoes and water shoes.

This was a great highlight of our trip. My 9yr old walked/ hiked the whole way. Going there is so great and you get to see some really cool views and sights. The tour guide was amazing 1000% recommend.
The way back is a real hike lol but it’s so worth it!

Let's start with the positives: the views are gorgeous. The natural pool is great. The tour is early in the morning, so there are almost no other people there. The sunrise is really quick; do not expect to sit and enjoy it - you will be walking.
The WhatsApp communication was rude. Not a huge deal, but that can be easily avoided. Just read the listing description and their review responses to know what you will be dealing with. The rental car is recommended, but there's a drive from the meeting point to the park, and if you don't have a car, they will drive you. Realistically, you really needed a car only to get closer to the park, and that's it. Why not make a meeting point at the park border - they do provide coordinates anyway, so why go to the store instead?
And, as I said, if you don't have a car, they drive you there. It would be interesting to see what they would do if more than 4 people show up without a car.
They emphasize being on time, but they are late themselves.
Keep in mind, you will be meeting in the middle of nowhere - the taxi driver who brought us back to the hotel checked the pickup address a few times before confirming the ride, as tourists do not go there.
Sea turtle nesting mentioned in the description is only for a certain period of the year, but they say about it only when you are already at the park, like "that happens here, but we won't see it today".
Response from Host, Apr 2026
Thank you for joining our sunrise walk and for highlighting the beauty of the natural pool and the peaceful early‑morning atmosphere.
We’d like to clarify a few points you mentioned.
• Meeting point: The meeting point is chosen intentionally because the park border is unsafe to wait at in the dark — no lights, no signal, and no clear place to stand. We provide coordinates so guests understand the route, but we avoid having anyone wait alone in that area.
• Transportation: When guests don’t have a car, we always drive them from the meeting point to the park. In our previous message we inform guests of a taxi contact if they require one, which you did not contact. Our group sizes are planned so that this is never an issue.
• Timing: We emphasize punctuality because sunrise is extremely time‑sensitive. This is a hiking experience. If we were a few minutes behind, it was to ensure all guests arrived safely.
• Sea turtles: Nesting is seasonal (which is a biological event) and we mention it during the tour as part of the natural history of the area. We’ll make the seasonality even clearer in the listing.
We’re sorry if our WhatsApp communication felt direct to the point. But, this is to avoid any confusion. Specially when the information is on the previous message that everyone receives after the booking. However, we appreciate your feedback and are glad you enjoyed the highlights of this experience.

The trail is a little rugged and getting into the pool requires some rock walking, but absolutely worth it. Genesis was a great guide. Being in the pool, seeing the fish, while the sea waves break over the rocks beyond was a magnificent experience. Highly recommend.
Jane_S, Mar 2026
The trip did not llist the uneven walk through the park. It also did not list if the weather was rough the swim in the pool would not happen. I understand they don’t control the weather but then the choice would
Of been mine
If these were listed I would not of gone as I am scheduled for knee replacement next month.
Response from Host, Mar 2026
Thank you for your feedback but is is very strange that you expect us to know ahead of time if the waves at the pool are suitable and safe for swimming. The only moment we get to know the situation is when we get there. This happens very rare in a year.
Regarding your knee suegery is bazard that you put yourself in risk, the tour and other participants by taken this experience knowing that in a week your are submitting to an knee replacement.
On the listing it mentioned you need to have good physical conditions and the level is moderate.
Wish you success in your surgery.

It was great. Very educational. Our guide, Yari, was fantastic and knew a great deal about the flora, fauna and history of the island. She took good care of us offering drinks and snacks at the swimming hole. She also joined us during the swim pointing out fish and geography.

This was my husband's favorite part of our vacation. My two teens and I loved it too. The hike was easy for anyone who is in decent shape - almost no elevation change except the hill back up to the truck at the end, and yet we felt like we got a good enough workout to earn our beach day afterword! Lots of changes in scenery. The natural pool was incredible, and yes, DO brink your snorkel gear. Only three other people in the pool, besides our group of 8. Genesis was sweet and offered to take pics of our family at key places. Getting up so early was very worth it. We were never hot on this hike due to the constant wind and low morning temps.
Nadya_S, Feb 2026
It’s exertional but worth it. The swim is amazing. Definitely ask for the snorkel mask to look at the fish. They are incredible. The views are stunning.
Our tour guide was awesome
Wendy_D, Feb 2026
The hike was rugged as expected. Definitely need sturdy shoes. Our guide was very informative, and as a frequent traveler to Aruba, I learned some new things about the island. If you like to hike, I would highly recommend this experience.
David_W, Jan 2026
I was skeptical about how early this tour met in the morning but after seeing the crowds of tourists on our first days in Aruba I understood why early is better!!! We got to watch the sun come up as we hiked and so no other living creatures except for goats on the entire hike. And no UTV’s! Yari was knowledgeable about the island and terrain.
The natural pool was not a calm as I expected but I got brave and snorkeled a bit and saw some beautiful fish. The scenery along the hike was gorgeous! Yari took an amazing photo of my husband and I to remember the day. I highly recommend this tour!

Really fun and relaxing. Cool to see the other side of the island away from the tourist beaches. The swim in the natural pool was so fun!
Emely_C, Jan 2026
Genesis was a great tour guide! She was friendly and made sure our group stayed together. My husband and our two friends are so happy we chose the hike over an ATV. Genesis took several
stops to share information and also take pictures for us! The natural pool itself is beautiful and we loved seeing all of the beautiful reef fish! Be sure to take some sort of water shoes, as it is a bit rocky entering. Other than that, book now! The early start is worth seeing the sun come up and having the pool all to yourself. This was one of the highlights of our trip!

Genesis was an amazing guide! She knows so much about the history of Aruba and the trail that we walked/hiked. She is also very friendly. I REALLY enjoyed this experience with her and the views were AMAZING!

Peaceful morning hike to the swimming hole. The views cannot be beat! Be sure to save some energy for the last hill at the end.
Zheng_Z, Aug 2025
Loved it!!!!! The hike was fun, slightly challenging, and really beautiful! Swim was really amazing! Be sure to bring your own snorkeling goggle or ask your tour guide to bring one for you! You will have lots of fun diving deep into the natural pool!!!! Highly recommended! You must try it when you visit Aruba!!!!

Wonderful experience! Highly recommend! Yari was friendly, knowledgeable and an experienced guide. Best ecological way to get to the pool. Plus Yari educates you on local history, flora and fauna, and all things Aruba.
Lynette_K, Jun 2025
Strongly recommended, Yari had a good pace, was patient and fun to be around. It’s lovely she went out of her way to help me get on the tour. Everyone raves about Conchi…it is truly amazing, before the crowds arrive! That hike too - epic.
Rod_R, Jun 2025
This is a great light hike and natural pool experience. Be sure to wear proper footwear. Good walking shoes or preferably hiking shoes AND separate water shoes for the swim experience.. Errol (guide name) was fantastic. Learned a lot about Aruba and took his recommendation on a lunch spot favorite of the locals, Zeerover. Way better than motorized tours. Highly recomemd.
