The staff was wonderful but the “tour” was not! The entire process is done offsite so not even a video to see it. There were three old olive presses and one oil extractor in a museum like setting, then a 5 minute walk around their grounds and a stop at the family chapel for two minutes. The 30 minute experience culminated with a tasting of their two varieties of olive oil along with a few pieces of Tuscan bread and a glass of wine for my wife and a bottle of water for me. The ride from Arezzo was 30 minutes and the valley that the estate is located in is beautiful, which was the only saving Grace for me. I wouldn’t recommend this even if you’re in the general vicinity.

Dear Frank, we are sorry that the experience did not meet your expectation especially as we have had many guests rave about this experience. You purchased the 'Olive Oil Tasting' and the full description is provided on the site and lists what is included. Our property dates back to 1625 and has a long history tied to olive oil production in which we focus on educating guests on their knowledge of the product in general and Italian olive oil. As you can see from the site, the glass of wine is not listed but we happily included it for you without additional charge.

The setting is beautiful. Staff were informative, accommodating, and friendly. In addition to olive oil tasting, we attended the Harvest Festival which was an amazing, memorable evening.

We enjoyed the tour very much. The tour guide was very knowledgeable. Her English was very good and made us feel right at home. The location was wonderful and we meet one of the 2 owners and she also added a lot to the experience. The wine was Fantastic. We had already experienced it at several dinners around town. 11 am was a bit early for this tour but thank goodness we were still on NY time 6 hours difference.. Its a great way to spend some time and get a feel for what goes into the wine production which we enjoyed at lunch and dinner....

Spectacular! This place is tucked away at the doorstep of Cortona and is well worth a visit. Run by local women (who also happen to be fabulously beautiful!), we were warmly greeted and given a short history of the family owned vinyard. Our guide Carla was AMAZING ( and the wines are too bad either!).
