Waste of time

Nothing good to write I’m afraid. Staff were pleasant however we paid for English tour & video was in Spanish. We were then shown 3 meteorites then headed upstairs to the one telescope. There were two of us and around 8 in the Spanish tour. We got around 2 minutes looking through the telescope in total and stood around a lot whilst the Spanish group used the telescope. The tour is a con and a waste of money. Really don’t recommend it. It felt like some students clubbed together to buy a telescope to con money from people.

We appreciate your feedback and would like to address your concerns in detail and we are son 1. **English Tour and Video in Spanish:** While we offer tours in English for our visitors, the introductory video is in Spanish due to our location and the majority Spanish-speaking audience. We take your suggestion seriously and are exploring options to include subtitles or translations in the future to enhance the experience for all our visitors. Don’t forget that we are a proffesional observatory from the Britannic Institute of Astronomy and we use proffesional automatic telescopes . 2. **Observation Time with the Telescope:** We strive to provide each visitor with the opportunity to enjoy our facilities. We apologize if you felt you did not have enough time for observation. We will review our practices to ensure a more equitable distribution of telescope time, thereby guaranteeing a satisfactory experience for all participants. Dont forget that we use enought telescopes depending of the reserve. We have 5 telescopes but in your tour there was 2 more people and you left the observatory when we was starting the tour in telescopes so you didn’t see much for this 3. **Quality of the Tour:** Our goal is to provide an educational and enriching experience. We take your perception seriously and will work to improve the organization and presentation of our tours. We are proud to have a dedicated team passionate about astronomy, and we will continue to strive to offer quality service. It is disheartening to hear that you felt the tour was a con. An experience as fun as it is instructive!

A very nice experience on the roof of an Arequipa building from which we could observe dozens of stars in an overpowering microscope accompanied by Ruth’s precious explanations, as patient as pedagogue. We loved it!
