Overview

The Colca Canyon (Cañón del Colca) is an adventure travel highlight of Peru with natural beauty, a ring of volcanoes, and natural hot springs. On this 2-day tour from the city of Arequipa you'll explore the culture and the trails of the so-called Grand Canyon of Peru. Stops during the journey to the Colca Canyon include canyon villages and the Condor Crossing (Cruz del Condor) viewpoint where massive Andean condors can be seen. The next day, tackle the challenging trek to the bottom of the canyon and back up again.

The overall experience is good, everything was according to tour description. We were surprised not having a confirmation the night before about pick up time but the pick up went as expected at 3:20am. We liked the hike a lot, the views are beautiful. 2 day-1 night fit our schedule perfectly.
