Was in Quatamala for my son’s wedding. Mario was absolutely phenomenal! We rented buggies and had a blast. He explained everything to us and cared for our safety! . We asked for him on our 2nd tour and were lucky to get him again. Mario you were the best!!!!!

Underwhelming due to rain

Grabbed the tour last minute thanks to Acatenango being closed. Was a happy surprise that they picked us up, I don't recall the listing saying it included transport. It started raining as we got to the headquarters, and our guide asked if we minded getting wet or if we preferred to take the Jeep instead (it was just us two). Of course we said let's take the buggy.... That's why we booked the trip! We threw on a poncho and hit the road. However I think due to the rain we didn't many of the stops that we were supposed to. We didn't get any info about the towns we went thru. We did stop at the macadamia nut farm but did not tour it. Only sat in the lobby and tasted nuts then left. We did see a small explanation of cocao roasting then they sold us some chocolate, then we went to a jade demonstration and tried to sell us some jade. So really we just visited their vendors. We did get dinner at a rustic outdoor place and the pepian was delicious.

Wonderful tour of Antigua with knowledgable tour guides! Our group of 8 had a wonderful time and riding the UTVs around made it so much more enjoyable! Would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Antigua and especially using this company! Chocolate tour, macadamia nut farm tour, city tour, market tour with delicious snack, lunch, etc.

Great tour with some pre-tour miscommunication

Overall, the tour and our tour guide was great. But taking one star off because of the poor communication before the tour. Had a hard time getting a response from the tour company and the drop off location on Viator was incorrect which we did not realize until our Uber dropped us off at the wrong place. We also did not find out till we met our tour guide that a hotel pick up was included in our package. Would still recommend the tour company but confirm the itinerary well in advance.

Great tour, great guide

Giovanni was a great tour guide and very personable! He answered many questions and went the extra mile when we left our bag at the office. The tour is great, I recommend brining loose Qs if you want to purchase wine and chocolate. The tour shows a lot of special parts of Guatemala you won’t see if you just hang around the city of Antigua. Highly recommend.

A really fun ride and super interesting and beautiful villages tour

This was a fantastic adventure. The macadamia farm is so beautiful, and the extensive knowledge of the farm tour guide was fascinating. The Jade workshop was super interesting for the overview of the entire operation from the mines to the end products. Each of the villages were beautiful, and hearing about the history of how the villages began, along with the building of their churches, was amazing. The chocolate factory wine tours were super entertaining and educational, and the samples were delicious. Our guide Mario (super nice individual) was outstanding with his knowledge of everything we saw and his ability to answer all questions asked. The meal we had at Sabores de me Pueblo was delicious, and the view from their backyard (as well as our stop at San Juan del Obispo) of Antigua and the surrounding towns and overall area was spectacular. Again, we cannot say enough about how great Mario was as our tour guide. We had a great time riding in the mule, which was well maintained and ran great. We would fully recommend this trip to all that are interested.
