This cooking class was an absolute treat! Rocco and Carla were so warm and welcoming! We made homemade pasta and the best tiramisu I have ever had! Their homemade wine was to die for and we had the best time enjoying the food and their family! I would highly recommend!

This was the best experience we had during our time on the Amalfi coast. This family has lived in the Amalfi coast for 8 generations and were excited to share their cooking, culture, and tradition with us. They made us feel right at home and we had so much fun cooking, drinking, taking in the views, and getting to know them. Oh and the food was just as good if not better than every restaurant we’ve been to. 10/10 would recommend.

I could not recommend Rocco and Carla’s cooking class any higher to any guest wanting a TRULY authentic cooking experience on the Amalfi Coast. This experience is truly farm to table with Rocco and Carla growing everything that we ate in either their backyard or receiving the ingredients from local friends. The group will never be more than six people, which also leads to this authentic experience. The food was absolutely delicious, and you taste three wines locally made, as well. Once again, I could not recommend this experience any more highly to anyone wanting a fantastic, authentic cooking experience.

We went as a family (adult children)to this experience. All 5 of us had a great time. Rocco and Carla work well together to make a smooth, fun and delicious evening. The little touches were very special. The choice of menu and the wine added additional flair. The view was beautiful, and with Rocco picking us up and dropping us off at the designated location, made it very convenient.

Highly recommend this cooking class to anyone looking for an authentic cooking experience. Rocco and Carla made us feel at home and were great hosts. The best part about this was that the emphasis on sustainable and ethical cooking. Everything was sourced from their garden (or their family’s garden) and the wine was 100%organic with grapes from their vineyard. We were served a few starters to kick off the session and a few jugs of fiano (this went down an absolute treat!) and chilled red after. Carla then showed us how to make 9 different shapes of pasta and we could pick 2 to make from scratch! I mean no doubt Carla helped out for the most part because we were all busy chatting away getting to know each other (especially when the wine kicks in..) She then made 2 sauces for the pasta (1 tomato based and the other was sautéed with zucchini, olive oil and a pinch of salt). We had that for dinner and it was absolutely delicious! We were also taught how to make tiramisu and finished off the night with that morsel of delight! Would highly recommend the afternoon session (4pm) as we kicked on for sunset cocktails at a bar next door.

This cooking class was wonderful!! We made delicious pasta dishes and tiramisu. We enjoyed a few types of their homemade wine and it was great. Rocco and Carla were not only informative and fun, they were just delightful. They shared stories of their upbringing, and their young son made an appearance which was adorable

We wanted an authentic, non-touristy experience, and we found it here! Rocco & Carla helped us make our own traditional Italian meal — complete with a starter, pasta and dessert. They explained & showed us how to do it all, and they weren’t afraid to crack jokes at our expense too. The food was great! The community was better. It’s a must-do if you’re staying in Praiano.

I cannot say enough about Roccos’s and Carla’s hospitality. They welcomed us into their wonderful home and made us feel like family. Rocco gave us the history behind their concept and served us wonderful wine. Meanwhile Carla taught my wife and I how to make a great traditional desert and 2 different pasta’s. All the while we engaged in wonderful conversation about life in general. The allotted time flew by and we wish we could have stayed longer!

What a fantastic day we had with Rocco and Carla. They hosted us in their beautiful garden in Praiano. I am so glad we went because I had not heard of Praiano and would not have taken the time to visit. The village itself is stunning and quaint with sweeping views of the sea. Rocco grew up in the area and he and his family grow the food and make the wine we enjoy on the visit. His lovely wife Carla is the Chef extraordinaire who makes EVERYTHING from scratch. My favorite part of the day is seeing her "doing it all" hanging the wash to dry as we walk up, soothing young Alexandro their adorable toddler (who will no doubt be hosting these events in a year or two), and having the patience of a saint as we endeavor to make pasta with her. Both Rocco and Carla are born hosts and have a passion for the Mediterranean Diet and healthy cooking (but you would never know it was healthy with how delicious the food tastes). I have done several cooking classes in my various visits to Italy/Greece, but this is the most "real" or as they said "It is our normal life". I especially appreciated that Carla was able to make allowances for my food allergies so I could enjoy the meal fully as well. If you want to have a true taste of living in the Amalfi Coast and all that is good about it - you will want to take this class.

This cooking class was amazing! We really had the best time and made some amazing food. Rocco and Carla are very sweet people with a lovely experience to offer. I personally don’t like eggplant but the stuffed eggplant we made was out of this world!! I would eat it every day. She shows you how to make 4 different styles of pasta. You can taste the freshness in every bite. It’s all picked and grown right from the garden where you take the class. My only advice is take a taxi or your rental car there. We took the bus and it was confusing to find. But they stayed in touch and met me right away when I shared my location. Don’t pass this authentic class up.

This was our favourite activity we did on holiday. The setting was beautiful, everything was grown in Rocco and Carla's garden, it was delicious and the wine was great! Would love to come back again!
