    Capri Day trip

    Worthwhile day trip to Capri. Beautiful boat, Giuseppe was very responsible and attentive.We left from Amalfi town. We had the option of small port ( no fee) but keep in mind you must lunch at the restaurant there ( very quiet and low key- may appeal to some) and take a short taxi ride in to main port vs pay the 100euro and go to large main port. We chose large port, we wanted the experience of the main port - busier, paid the fee and definitely wanted to explore restaurants and shops . Incredible views in main port. Swimming available near the boat- we did not end up snorkeling. Well worth the trip.

    Dear Jase thanks for sharing your experience of the boat tour with the other travellers. Unfortunately since 5 or 6 years in Capri port they implemented a port fee of 100 euro to all private boats to disembark and then to reimbark the passengers and sometimes takes time to do it. That's why we usually stop at the restaurants in Capri usuing their shuttle boat we avoid to pay the 100 euro port fee and its very fast the service. Then from the restaurant you may explore the town of Capri and come back in the restaurant using again their shuttle boat for free to come back on board the boat. This is the best option usually for a good boat tour in Capri avoiding crowd and queues.

    Simone was very flexible and communicative while planning this tour. With his help, we were able to cruise the Amalfi Coast to Capri, sail around the island, do the Blue Grotto and have time for lunch before returning to our ship. It was truely a memorable day. Thank you Simone for making this a tour to remember. I highly recommend this tour.
