Experience the Arctic like a hardy musher: from a sled pulled through the snow by a team of huskies. Drive your own sled or enjoy the ride as a passenger and take in the wintery beauty and rugged landscapes of Northern Norway. Seriously cannot recommend this experience enough!!!! An absolutely amazing day, you get to drive your own dog sled (only if you want to) through the stunningly spectacular arctic countryside. The snow covered trees, stark snow landscapes, and unbelievable views are not to be missed. Then adding in the experience of dog sledding and being a musher? Absolutely unreal. I can’t say enough good things!! Holmen Husky does everything right - they provide transportation to and from town, extremely warm insulated snow suits, boots, hats and mittens so you don’t have to have your own, the dogs are unbelievably cute and amazing, the guides are awesome (shout out Martina). It is a truly once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Wonderful experience, i am so happy i took it directly as a small group. They could give as the proper clothing and go for more than one our ride ,great experience. I could stay there more and more a play with the dogs

The experience was amazing also to get to know the dogs after the ride. The guide could tell us a lot about the dogs and the history of dog sleeding.

Driving the husky sled through snow was a very memorable experience. We also had the chance to pet and hug the lovely dogs n cute puppies too. We had tea and cookies over a campfire which was very nice. We will want to do this again if we have a chance to visit again!

We were welcomed to Holmen Husky by the huskies themselves, happily barking and wagging their tails.
Nico, our guide, took excellent care of us. We were outfitted in thermal gear and taught the simple basics of driving the dog sled. Then we were off! We spent about an hour driving the sleds through a beautiful trail along the river.
We had lots of time to meet the dog’s and puppies, who were very friendly and happy to see us. Nico shared stories about the dogs’ lives at the lodge and about the various sledding races in the area, too. He was happy to answer all of our questions.
All in all, this was a very special, unforgettable experience for me, my husband and 14 year old son.

Super Organisation mit viel Hingabe und Liebe zu den Hunden. Die Guides waren sehr professionell. Gute Einweisung. Wir durften den Schlitten im Zweierteam sogar selber fahren, auf der Hälfte der Strecke wurde getauscht. Danach gemütlich einen Tee/Kaffee im Tipi am Kamin getrunken und die Hunde besucht. Klare Weiterempfehlung! 😍

Ein absolut wundervolles, authentisches und einzigartiges Erlebnis, das jeder, der Norwegen besucht machen sollte. Alles war hervorragend organisiert und die Zeit ging vorbei wie im Flug. Jeder konnte einen Hundschlitten selbstständig fahren und lenken, die Hunde und ihre Betreuer kennen lernen, Zeit mit den Welpen verbringen, Fragen stellen und alles Wissenswertes über das Uternehmen erfahren. Wirklich sehr empfehlenswert und jederzeit sehr gerne wieder!

Sich von diesen herrlichen Schlittenhunden selbst als Musher durch die norwegische Landschaft ziehen zu lassen war grandios.
Es war sehr interessant zu beobachten, wie freudig diese Tiere laufen und Spaß daran haben.
Im Huskycamp konnte man auch die Hunde kennenlernen und Kontakt aufnehmen. Bei einer Tasse Tee am wärmenden Kamin haben wir alles über das Camp und die Hunde erfahren, insgesamt ein sehr interessantes Erlebnis!
