- Only the holders of a valid B class drivers license are allowed to drive a snowmobile in Norway. You are required to present your license for verification before taking part on the ride. Guests without a valid driving license are only allowed to be passengers.
- You will share a snowmobile with another passenger, so each of you will get to drive half of the trip.
- This tour/activity will have a maximum of 17 travelers

Ulf was an amazing guide. Patient and supportive with our group of 5. We also had perfect weather - 0 precipitation, and minimal clouds. He ensured we had the proper fit for the provided clothes and equipment. Then got us all out into the wild, to maximize our evening run. We took a well worn path, perfect for beginners, but also just enough to keep things interesting. He took just the right amount of stops to ensure everyone was okay and comfortable, as well as to swap drivers. We ended up around 535 m above sea level (where amazingly, I was still getting 3 bars of 5G - Norway knows what it's doing!). This is where we stopped and thr aurora decided to put on a show for us. Ulf prepared a hot blueberry drink for everyone, which was just the energy hit we needed. This trip is absolutely a core memory now. Worth every penny, and more. The aurora was just an added unexpected bonus. I will say though, the experience ABSOLUTELY depends on favourable weather. I don't believe it would have been anywhere near as fun if it was raining, so do watch for that.

This was great fun. Our awesome show started during the Van ride and we stopped for a minute to get great photos. There was a little bit of a glitch in the beginning and figuring out where one group was, but we all got together and had a fantastic time snowmobiling and had amazing shows. They had great equipment for us and kept us very warm and overall it was a fantastic experience. Just know that when they tell you to meet by the blue building, you won’t be able to tell it’s blue at night. So pay attention when you go out during the day so you know the spot.

I had never been on a snowmobile and that in itself was awesome. We made it to the top of the mountain and so grateful for the warm suits provided by the operator. Kept us perfectly warm and protected. The northern lights at the top were spectacular!!!!! A trip of a lifetime.

It was the best experience we could have hoped for. The team is extremely organized and very helpful. Jens, our guide, was exceptional! He explained everything to us, guided us safely, found the best vantage points, and made sure we were comfortable the entire time. The hot cider and chocolate break was perfect. Highly recommended!

All clothing is provided. They do a good job with instructions and safety. It was great to do this at night.

Get warm clothes, particularly gloves, that allow you to take pictures. Reason is that Northern Lights are better seen through camera, so you will use them. Also, note that you must have a drivers license to operate a snowmobile, so don't forget it.

We did the late night excursion in the hope of seeing the Northern Lights. Unfortunately it was overcast, so we only saw a glimmer. However that didn't detract from the trip which was great fun. The guides were friendly and helpful, and we had a great time.

We had blizzard conditions so no northern lights, but still had a great time. They supply really warm suits and driving the snowmobiling was great fun. We stopped for photos and at points of interest. Can now say we experienced proper Norway winter weather.

We had a great time in this tour! The nature is simply breathtaking, and riding snowmobiles is so much fun (even if you don’t see much lights). More importantly, our guide John was an excellent tour guide. Not only did he explain things well to us and looked after us throughout the activity, he also made the trip so much fun! My 10 yr old son sat behind him on the snowmobile and had such a blast!

Not a cheap experience but well worth it. Also far cheaper than the one organised by our tour operator.
We were picked up from the cruise terminal by our lovely guide John and taken out into the middle of nowhere. Had it not been so cloudy we’d have had perfect conditions for the northern lights.
We were kitted out in the correct gear; mittens, balaclava, socks, helmet, boots and suit before having a safety briefing about the snowmobiles. We were taken out along a pre determined path through the forest with a couple of stops to hear more about the northern lights. Roger was so knowledgeable and along with John they looked after all of us brilliantly (sorting out the snowmobile when I managed to get it stuck in deep snow!). You then get the chance to swap drivers (as long as you both have a valid driving licence). After whizzing through the forest you go back to the lodge for a hot drink and a snack before being taken back to your pick up point. Overall this was a superb trip - just wish I’d got the hang of it sooner!!

What an amazing experience from start to finish. This excursion was the highlight of our 15 day cruise and was booked independently from the Ship’s excursions.
We were picked up from the Cruise Terminal, on time, driven to the lodge where we were fully kitted out in Arctic clothing.
There was a full induction on how to drive the Snowmobile. At the Top we were treated with a hot local drink, which was amazing as well as samples of the local chocolate. Along the way various points of interest were pointed out. We even experienced heavy snow showers on route.
The night ended with a tour of the lodge and. on our way back to the cruise terminal Jakub stopped the Van at a site where we were able to view the Northern Lights.
Highly recommend 👍
Would love to stay at the Lodge independently at some point 😊

The equipment was first class the pre-brief was fantastic, Rogers knowledge of the aurora was first class. The trip was fine but just seemed to much like a trail route well used and not really what I expected.

Absolutely fantastic! Rodger was so helpful and full of information about the Northern lights. We stopped part way to the lodge when he saw a good clear spot and we actually got a fantastic show of lights! Rodger provided us with hot drinks and helped us with taking good photos.
We then continued our journey to the lodge and got onto the snowmobiles for a breathtaking journey to the top of the mountain with another show of the Northern lights on our way back down!
He then got us back to our ship in the nick of time to sail off to our next destination.
I would 100% recommend doing this!

Even though the weather conditions stopped us from actually seeing the northern lights, the snowmobile driving experience was unforgettable thanks to our guides, Marion and Jakub, who were an absolute delight to travel with: knowledgeable, engaging and always safety conscious. Highly recommended.

He is very detail oriented on the safety and operation of the snowmobile!
We follow him on the ride. He will stop at every challenging point and tells us what to do!
Even we didn’t see any Northern Lights but the ride was so wonderful and fun!

Je nach Witterung sieht man keine Nordlichter. Der Ausflug ist wie beschrieben in englisch. Dir Ausrüstung ist top und es lohnt sich! Einfach ein Erlebnis.

la qualité du guide qui a fait l'effort de parler français ! un seul gros souci : nous sommes venus au rendez-vous à l'heure annoncé sur votre site (rendez-vous à 17h55). J'ai même appelé votre service client en France qui m'a confirmé cet horaire ! Or, le rendez-vous était pour 20h00 car il y a eu un changement d'horaire depuis quelques semaines mais votre site ne l'a pas mis à jour. Nous avons dû attendre 2 heures seuls dans le froid devant la boutique qui était fermée !!!

Wir eine 3-Köpfige Löwen-Familie (die LION'S) haben mit Vegard einen unvergesslichen Abend/Nacht verbracht ... jede Menge Spass inkl. einen Guide (war der Eigentümer selbst) der es versteht seine Gäste zu begeistern .... ein Highlight auf unserer Kreuzfahrt ... plus das Nordlicht zum Abschluss noch eingefangen ... mehr geht nun wirklich nicht ... Abholung am Hafen/ Anleger AIDA und Rücktransport haben perfekt geklappt .... und als SPECIAL Service hat Vegard unter Aufsicht unserer Tochter fahren lassen ...etwas was Laureen nicht mehr so schnell vergisst - 5 ***** Sterne
