Outstanding site, great guide and driver. Guide very informed and willing to extend my stay to see absolutely everything. Web ad misleading. Experience from Algiers to Djemila and back was a 12 hour experience, not 6-8 hours. Decent lunch provided.

Eine lange Fahrt, die sich wirklich lohnt!

Es ist wirklich eine lange Fahrt (3,5-4h pro Strecke, aber die Landschaft und auch der ländlichere Teil Algeriens ist ja auch interessant), jedoch ist die Ausgrabung und auch das Museum diese wirklich Wert! Auf den Bildern erkennt man gar nicht so gut, wie schön und gut erhalten die Anlage ist. Auch das Museum ist wirklich sehr toll, selbst wenn man eigentlich Mosaike nicht so mag, wie meine Freundin. ;) Genial war die Führung mit dem lokalen Guide Fateh, ein exzellentes, klares Englisch und eine wirklich lebendige Führung. Allgemein ist die Organisation vom Kontakt vorher, über die Abholung bis zum Ende super! Unser Fahrer Yazid war wie ein Freund uns hat uns sicher die lange Strecke gefahren und trotz Ramadan ein wirklich leckeres Mittagessen bei einer lokale. Familie organisiert. Kann man uneingeschränkt empfehlen! Wichtig den Pass mitnehmen, weil man am Eingang des Museums von der Polizei kontrolliert wird.
