Great tour to visit the small city! I don’t have anything else to say about the tour! Our guide was knowledgeable of the town! We did not get to visit the cultural center but I think the tour was great regardless of this visit!

Along the way she shares fascinating stories about Costa Rica’s national heroes, influential writers and artists, and the political figures who shaped the country. Born and raised in Alajuela, Ashlie clearly loves her city and is passionate about sharing the very best of her hometown with visitors. She also made the experience especially welcoming and thoughtful—even surprising us with refreshing bottles of iced tea along the way. For anyone wanting an insightful and authentic introduction to Alajuela, I highly recommend this tour with Ashlie.
The guide Abigail was very enthusiastic and friendly, and the city of Alajuela is very beautiful. I regret that the tour focused on a few monuments, without giving an overview of the city's history.
