Relaxing drive out to Valensole area to see the fields belonging to the Angelvin family and shop for lavender products/souvenirs at their store. This is not Senanque Abbey!

It is worthwhile to see fields of lavender! You should wear sturdy shoes to walk in the fields. Comfortable can ride.

We were taken to the lavender fields, distilleries and shops as well as to the town of Valensole in a comfortable van. The tour group consisted of 5 people plus the guide. Alessandro was very personable and knowledgeable and gave us ample time at each stop to enjoy the experience. The fields were very beautiful and Valensole was an interesting small town in the countryside. I would recommend this experience.

This tour was very enjoyable. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the lavender fields and also about the areas along the drive to the fields! My wife and I highly recommend this tour which also includes a stop in a small village in the area where you could eat and shop.

We had the absolute best time on this tour! Our guide took us out to more secluded fields where we got to take pictures and enjoy our time without any other people. We went to three different fields and took a trip into the town of Valensole. Absolutely breathtaking and everything we thought it would be!

Nicholas Was a wonderful guide and provided us with a lot of information about the history Aix en Provence. He brought us to many more fields than we expected and we managed to see the sunset for a final thrill. I would highly recommend this tour and try to take it late in the day to get the full experience.

Went on the 4hr Valensole Lavender tour with my mum. The mode of transport is a cosy minivan which we shared with a family of 6, so the tour was very cosy and highly enjoyable. The Lavender fields we visited were stunning, and the short stop in the village of Valensole was wonderful. Thank you so our kind guide who was so patient with us and also with great initiative to anticipate our needs. He taught us a lot on the history and other fun facts of Aix, would highly recommend this tour if you're in Aix during the lavender season :)

Wonderful lavender fields.
Driver needs to improve:
A.She arrived 40 min late without notifying us.
B. She drove really fast on windy roads. 2 people in the car were car sick, but she didn’t change her crazy driving.
C. Too long was spent in a pre planned lavender gift shop.

Our tour experience was amazing, and a huge part of that is thanks to our lovely and very informative tour guide - Jenny. We learned so much from her regarding the history of the Provence region, as well as the origin and uses of many native Provence herbs and plants. She stopped at three lavender fields for us, and even was able to find us two sunflower fields! She also let us explore the town of Valensole to try/buy some lavender products. Highly recommend this tour - it was well worth the price.

Our guide was friendly, funny, and knowledgeable, offered interesting details about the fields and distilleries, and where to shop in Valensole. He also offered to take pictures for everyone in our group. It was an absolutely perfect day. We went in late June, and the sights and smells did not disappoint. Do this tour!

Paul was an excellent guide with a wealth of fun facts and was committed to giving us a great experience. Definitely get the lavender ice cream! We were very excited for it after reading other reviews and it did not disappoint! Very satisfying treat after taking photos in the sunny fields.

The field was beautiful. Our guide, Paul, was in time, found a picture perfect field for the group and helped take pictures. He was also nice to us and stopped at a sunflower field too :-) My only wish is that we would visit a couple of different fields.

Wir sind 30min zu spät aufgebrochen, weil andere Tourgäste zu spät waren und dann 1h zu spät zurückgekehrt, sodass ich fast meinen Zug verpasst hätte.

Bonjour. Pendant le tour nous nous arrêtons chez au moins un producteur, pour donner la possibilité de pouvoir acheter directement à la source des produits locaux (huile essenciel de lavande, miel, amandes, etc). Comme c'est un tour groupé nous cherchons de s'adapter aux intérêts de tous. Les personnes qui ne sont pas intéressés aux produites locaux peuvent à la place de acheter ces produits faire des photos avec des oliviers, des fleurs, manger une glace à la lavande, ou d'autres activités. Nous leur demandons par contre de laisser un peu de temps aux personnes qui veulent acheter des produits de pouvoir le faire. Il y a un peu du temps pour que tous soient contents.
