This was an incredible excursion - we enjoyed every minute. My 10 year old son , who can be difficult to please, described it as his favourite day of our 7 night stay in Crete.
The tour guide, Michael, is extremely passionate and knowledgeable of the local area. We were picked up directly from our hotel and we felt well looked after from start to finish. The Richter Waterfall is a beautiful spot - we swam in the fresh water pool which was enjoyable and refreshing. We were driven around the mountains and shown incredible views over Crete, which we wont forget in a hurry. The local Cretan food was also delicious ! I cannot rate this excursion highly enough for those who are keen to explore some of the Island and its natural beauty, Ancient ruins and wildlife.

Great way to see some highlights of the East side of Crete. We enjoyed the relatively short hike to the waterfall at the Richtis Gorge and especially the olive oil factory tour and tasting. Lunch was a delicious variety of traditional Greek foods with a breathtaking view.

This is an extraordinary excursion. The variety of stops, the beauty and the information were all beyond our expectations. George was 10 out of 10 as a guide!!! We have taken many tours in many places around the world and this is a standout. We traveled with one other couple and George switched from French to English with ease and created for us a connection as a group not hampered at all by different languages. Our meal was not only in the most beautiful setting but we experience Crete through our tastebuds too. Our hike was challenging in spots but George knew the route and kept us all safe and at no time did we feel rushed. Despite heavy rain the day before, not one slipped! The description and other reviews encouraged us that we would have a great time but we had way beyond great. The vehicle was so perfect for all the activities and so comfortable. If you take only one tour in Crete, do this and hopefully you will get George. From olive factory to waterways to lunch and ancient tree and ruins it was a marvelous day. If we could give it 6 stars we would, five just doesn’t seem like enough!.

Andre was amazing, he knew the area so well and he gave interesting information on everything we were seeing. The trip contains some difficult terrain and he was patient and helpful to those who were struggling a bit, the whole trip was really well structured and the food was great too, it allowed us to get a taste of lots of different type of Greek food. Also, my friend left something in his car and he was kind enough to contact us afterwards and return it to us. This was the best day we had in our week trip to Crete, so I definitely recommend booking it!

Die Tour mit Reiseleiterin Petra war richtig schön. Uns hat es sehr gefallen und wir haben auch sehr viel von Petra gelernt. Kann die Tour sehr empfehlen!
