What are people saying about Normandy

A must do tour!
What a wonderful way to see the Normandy “must see” sights! Our tour guide Manon was amazing. She took her time with us and accommodated our mom who walks slow and needs a lot of breaks. She was very informative and we learned so much about D day and the whole battle of Normandy. If you are considering taking this tour, do not hesitate it is well worth it! Deb Norman

Major Bucket List Item to See Omaha Beach.
Excellent full day tour of American Cemetery, Omaha Beach, Point du Hoc, Utah Beach, and several other key sites near Utah Beach. Tour guide (Matt) did a great job. Very well prepared and very knowledgeable of the history and geography. Matt provided not only the "big picture," but also specific events at a lower scale that occurred over the first several days of the battle. The small group made it easy to maneuver, hear the guide, and get around to the various sites. Excellent tour and tour guide.

We were hesitant to book...
We were hesitant to book the Viator since the cruise lines caution passengers about getting back on time before the ship sails. Since Viator offered the Honfleur and Deauville excursion we decided to do this one no regrets, the tour guide brought us back to the ship several hrs before departure and we were about to book another excursion to Le Havre. Viator tour guides are very aware of boarding times no need to stress...in fact now that we are comfortable with booking Viator Shore excursions we will continue to search out great excursions for our future trips! In addition Laurence aka Larry the tour guide was fantastic he was very patient always a nice smile when you asked questions always willing to help with making the trip the best! He always had a good side...I don't think he has a bad side, his personality was very nice!

D Day tour
Don't miss this excursion! Our guide, Sam,, was very knowledgeable and made the long day fun. The homemade sandwiches and chips were good and left us more time to see Omaha Beach. Walking through the American and German cemeteries was a reminder of the cost of peace.

The northern region of Normandy is one of France’s most emblematic, boasting centuries of history, iconic cuisine, and a rich tapestry of cultural heritage. Visiting the D-Day Landing Beaches and World War II sites rank among the most popular Normandy tours, but guided visits can also add depth when checking off must-sees like the Bayeux Tapestry and the Mont St Michel monastery. Beyond the headline acts, exploring Normandy like a local means embracing the slower pace of life: explore the countryside by e-bike or sidecar, stop for a cider tasting amid the orchards, or stroll the waterfront of Honfleur or Deauville.
