Our tour guide, Peter, was fantastic. We traveled with my 11 yo grandson who is a WWII history buff. Peter focused his conversation to James and kept the adults engaged as well. Amazing tour that everyone should take it. Thinking it happened just 81 years ago, it's crazy how fast history fades. Average age of soldiers in the cemetery is 23. Fabulous day with V. A...

Fabulous day with V. A must see if you are ever in Normandy. We travelled from Caen through some beautiful countryside and finally the Mont appeared in the distance. It was truly amazing to see it rise from the sea. A quick bus ride to get closer to the village, then a steep climb to the windswept top and the incredible Abbey. Really worth it if you can make it up the steps. Our tour guide was brilliant and had expert knowledge on the history of Mont st Michel. We had a great day with her. Would highly recommend this tour. A highlight of our trip to France.
