A once in a lifetime experience in Mexico City

This truly is a once in a lifetime experience. My husband, 11 year old daughter and I felt well cared for the entire trip. Our driver was very conscientious about our pickup and the hot air balloon facilities are modern and excellent. We felt safe on the balloon and were able to enjoy breathtaking views of the pyramids and surrounding countryside. Well worth waking up early! Excellent value for the price paid: transport, balloon ride, coffee, champagne toast, breakfast, transport to pyramids and home again.

Must Book Experience

I cannot recommend this experience enough. My boyfriend and I did the tour with Christian and Raul (driven by the great Pauly) - we kept saying throughout the day that we were so happy that we booked with them. The two tour guides were so knowledgeable, friendly, kind, and informative - they truly made the entire experience. I know that there are many buses that can take you from the city centre into the archeological site for a solo trip, but the knowledge that these two men provided definitely made the trip even more worthwhile. Additionally, the pick up and drop off site and times were the most convenient compared to others. It was so nice to not worry about anything from transportation to admission fees. We left the city at approximately 7:45 AM and returned at 2:00 PM - great value. 10/10!!

Fun trip not to be missed

This was one of my favourite trips whilst in CDMX and Paola was just the best guide with her energy and enthusiasm throughout! After being collected by Uber to the meeting point, we started in Xochimilco where we boarded the trainers. We bought drinks from a floating vendor and Paola arranged for a Mariachi band to board our boat. Was so much fun! We were then taken to Coyoacan where we had the most delicious churro and a wander through the area. We had free time before going for lunch in a local market that Paola had booked a table for. We didn't go to the Frida Musuem with the group and went to the nearby Trotsky one but met up with the group after for our return. Absolutely fab day, brought to life by Paola and her boundless jest for life! Would highly recommend.

Aerostat is excellent

Spectacular experience for our family of 4 (teen kids). Aerostat staff were well organized, friendly, and provided good communication. We felt very safe the whole time. We stayed the night before in the area to avoid even earlier morning travel from CDMX. We had opted for the hot air balloon ride only, no breakfast, etc, which fit our needs well. We were offered on site to have a photographer and drone document our experience (for pay), but when we declined there was no pushy upselling, which we appreciated. There are many balloon companies in the area and it’s amazing to see all the balloons in the sky. Can’t speak about the other companies, but Aerostat is an excellent choice. Highly recommend!

10/10 Sunrise Experience!

We had the most wonderful experience with the sunrise hot air balloon ride. The staff was so incredibly friendly and took such good care of us throughout the entire tour. The food, the service, the experience, the tastings and everything else in between was amazing. I would recommend this to anyone and everyone! Amazing experience! Highly recommend!

Everyone from Carlos the driver, Jessica the tour guide, to Alejandro the pilot were super friendly and professional. We were well taken care of. The breakfast in the cave actually exceeded my expectations. And of course the flight was just amazing! We did the trip with our seven year old daughter and she loved it. It's a bit hard for her to see over the rail in the beginning but once we are in the air Alejandro put her on top of the inside railing and she ended up with the best view!

Amazing trip! Don’t miss it

We had such a great time on this trip to Tolantongo. Leo was a great guide and did a wonderful job helping everyone enjoy their experience while making sure we got to all of our stops. He was helpful and mindful of the needs of our group (ex. We had one family member who doesn’t speak English with us and he made sure she understood what was going on). Jose did a wonderful job driving and helping coordinate. There were helpful touches like fresh towels and shampoo being provided at the end of the day so we could all shower before heading back. The included breakfast was delicious. The visit itself was incredible. I would highly recommend going to see this area. There was a very balance of relaxation and adventure. The tunnel was chaotic due to several groups arriving at once but Leo did a great job making sure everyone made it through safely. The cave was one of the coolest things I’ve ever seen. The river was beautiful. I’d highly recommend adding the zip line. Overall, a long but wonderful day. Thank you Leo and Jose!

Booze, Music, and Vibes!

Our group of 12 friends had an amazing time. We did the shared boat experience which was fine since there were so many of us in our group. The crew were great communicators and friendly! They did dock the boat halfway through for restroom breaks at a spot with a few shops as well. I’m glad we did the drink package since the boats that sell cocktails were not as frequent as I imagined in a Saturday afternoon. The tacos were really taquitos so some of us were a little surprised. Still give this 5 stars

Amazing experience!

This entire experience was amazing! The ENTIRE staff was very courteous (from the drivers to and from our destination, to the captain of our air balloon flight, to the breakfast staff and the mariachis!). The flight was very smooth, the traditional Mexican breakfast was delicious, and the Mariachi band was very entertaining. I couldn’t recommend this tour enough and would do it again in a heartbeat. Amazing experience, highly recommend

This was by far the best experience I had in Mexico City. The tour was well-timed and well organized. The balloon ride was a great. I got some amazing photos, despite the fog. The breakfast in the cave was memorable. The staff put on a great show, which I wasn’t expecting. The tequila/mezcal tasting was fun, although I’m not a fan of liquor. There was one taste I enjoyed: it was mezcal mixed with a pine nut cream, which was delicious. I loved the pyramids. A guided tour was offered for an extra cost. Overall, I had so much fun; it was like having 5 different experiences in one package. Definitely book this trip. It’s worthwhile. You’ll have wonderful memories and pictures. Tip: don’t bring a purse or backpack unless you absolutely have to. You can’t bring anything on the balloon. They weigh you before you can get on.
