Great experience. For over 18 years old. The instructor was very patient. He actually spent extra time with them.
This was such a unique and beautiful experience and I am super happy my partner and I got to participate in it. We had one-on-one instruction from Alessandro, a true artisan from a many generation family of glass artists, and his protege, Dario. Both gentlemen were great teachers: extremely knowledgeable, skillful, pleasant and fun to work with. This was a highlight of our trip to Venice and Murano. It gave us a new appreciation of complexity and beauty of glass as an art form, and the skill and knowledge this work requires. Alessandro had some mind-blowingly beautiful pieces available for purchase in his workshop that were a standout from the rest of the glass in and around Venice. It was clear that both instructors not only loved what they do, but were excited about sharing their passion with others.
We really enjoed trying glass work for the first time. I was a bit nervous about trying it, but Dario made us both feel really comfortable and gave us the perfect amount of help and encouragement. It was my partner's birthday so Dario made it an extra bit special
Really informative, fun and safe! Clear instructions given and help the whole way through. Our instructor went to lots of extra effort to make sure we had everything we needed.
Such a fantastic experience. I had an amazing time! It was incredibly fun and unique to create my own Murano glass pieces. I made a couple of beautiful beads and bonbons!
This was such a wonderful and eye-opening experience! I'm NOT an artistic person, but I appreciate what artists can do. So, not knowing what to expect, I showed up for a one-on-one glassblowing explanation and then got to try my hand at it. He was so informational, using excellent English while explaining the science behind glassblowing. I felt safe, and had so much fun! The beads and candy are sitting on my dresser now. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone, of any ability, who is interested in this fascinating art.
Best thing we did in Italy! Ever! Alessandro is an incredible artist and a patient teacher. We had a fantastic time learning his process and then trying ourselves. Of course, what he makes is very technically complicated requiring years of study and practice. But even our simple project was challenging and has given us a greater appreciation for the art form. We left with our projects and his demonstration pieces. We’ll treasure them all! Book this experience! You won’t regret it!
An amazing and challenging experience. A new appreciation to the wokr that goes into the glass wear.
Truly the best thing we did in Italy. Alessandro and his coworker were both incredibly knowledgeable and skilled and we learned so much about glass blowing. After a demonstration where Alessandro made us a vase, we both got the chance to make a couple of glass items of our own. I would recommend this activity to anyone and would love to do it again when I’m next back in Murano.
Alessandro and Dario are warm and gracious hosts showing their talents in making beautiful items with Murano Glass. This wasn’t just a tour or a Lesson, but a hands on experience where you get to make a memento under their guidance and support. I will always remember this experience and have a whole new appreciation beautiful glass designs!!
This was a private and personal experience with 2 masters in glass making. Alessandro is so creative in his designs. Hands on experience. Well worth the price. Studio is small so don’t be concerned the experience is worth it.
Working with Alessandro and his dedicated team will change the way you see and understand art. The passion and perfection behind the flame will change your perspective.
The glassworking experience was absolutely the best we could ever have hoped for. Alessandro and Dario were kind, thoughtful, engaging and passionate about their work and so generous with their art, time and skill. Mille grazie!
This was an excellent experience! Very hands on and informative! It’s not easy, which makes you appreciate the craftsmanship even more!
Weekend with my husband in Murano. I found the offer of this experience and fortunately I succumbed to the temptation to book. We found two guys really passionate about the work they do and the art they are able to put into it. Passion that Alessandro told us and that he was able to transmit to us. It 'was really exciting to be able to create something from a glass stick (said so it sounds trivial, but it absolutely is NOT). It is also right to mention Dario, impeccable narrator of the work and inventiveness that is breathed in this workshop. Thanks to both of you with the prayer to continue like this. THANK YOU!
