Loved our tour of the Borghese. Our tour guide was fantastic! He was passionate about the art and very knowledgeable. It was the best way to start our visit in Rome!

An unforgettable experience!
Galleria Borghese exceeded all our expectations. Bernini’s sculptures are simply breathtaking - the level of detail, movement, and emotion carved into marble is almost impossible to believe. The Metamorphosis exhibition was fascinating and beautifully curated, adding a contemporary perspective to the visit.
Our guide, Alicia, was outstanding. Her knowledge, enthusiasm, and engaging storytelling brought every masterpiece to life and made the visit truly memorable.
We highly recommend booking a guided tour. It was one of the highlights of our trip to Rome.

Save your money and buy tickets at the museum. We paid $233 for the tour for 2, cost 16 euros per person at the gallery. This was supposed to be a guided tour with a live tour guide, however, it turned out to be an audio phone tour. When we found our guide outside, we were given a scan code for our cell phones. I explained that we could not use our phones due to a low battery, she just shrugged her shoulders. We wound up buying an audio guide at the museum. Very disappointed with Viator!

Percent, just book through the website of the actual place if you can, I couldn’t get it translated unfortunately so I booked it through this website. I’ve been trying so hard to get a refund with no luck.

Process for meeting the representative and getting the tickets was easy. The Borghese Gallery had amazing sculptures, carefully explained by our live tour guide. Definitely a must-see if you can.

Poor information on how to get there. The audio guide was useless, it only told the history but did not embellish on what we actually were looking at in the gallery this would have been helpful since it had beautiful artwork.

you cant get your ticket until 15 minutes before.. stressful, as some don't work.

I had a ticket to the colesseum and there were no tickets emailed, no access to the prepaid audio guide. WHAT A SCAM.. WASTE OF A PRECIoUS DAY. Next day I had an emAIL saying it had been cancelled...so I DID N'T GET TO DO WHAT I PLANNED AND PAID FOR DISGUSTING. we give phone numbers ..we have to

One of the great art museums in world.Caravaggio on display with play on light and darkness with great emotion and Bernini David along with Apollo and Daphne is worth a trip to Rome in itself

The guide I had with OnceUponaTime Tours was exceptional! He was warm and welcoming of everyone in the group. He was very knowledgeable of the art, the artists, the museum, the history and the politics behind it all. It was very interesting. He also managed us through the museum like a professional, navigating around the other groups with ease. It was definitely worth the money! I’m very grateful for the experience and for his wonderful teaching gift. I think his name was Dimitri but I’m not sure I’m recalling correctly. He was Italian and spoke English fluently. He was the best!

Never book these third party tours. 3 of 4 did not show up. Viator will give you your money back but you will not be able to see the museums. Only book direct in advance with each museum

Villa Borghese is a MUST when you visit Rome! Our guide, Demitri, was excellent- and hilarious. He gave us so many interesting details. I recommend the 9am tour - we had some of the rooms completely to ourselves.

WARNING ! No one tells you where the tour actually starts. There are travel companies out side the building with their companies flag identifying who they are. Viator did not send us any info as to what company was going to be given the tour. Also our tour was suppose to begin at 11:00. Viator claims they sent us a email postponing the tour at 2:00. We didn't get it. So we showed up at 11;00 to find out the tour would not start until 2:00. We tried to cancel the tour but they refused to reimburse us. So we sat around for 3 hours for the tour to start.

ref 1375299941-REV1PG7.. I Paid 1516,16 Danish Kroner on 24th March for entree to Galleria Borghese on 22.04 Skip-the Line-Entry Ticket with Audioguide. We did not get what we ordered : no audioguide-just referred to PoPguide with 3 pictures of Highlights -only for me .not my friend. There was no skip the line. We had to line up like other visitors. This is vastly overcharged- since the museum tickets were only 18 Euro each- 36 euro= 270 Danish kroner !!! We are higlhly dissatisfied , and shall do what we can to discourage others from using your service !!

We are absolutely disappointed with Viator. We originally booked the tour for 12:00. We were later contacted to say that time was full. We rebooked for 2:00 on the same day. We have vouchers/confirmations that clearly show we were confirmed for 2:00. Near 12:00 on the day of the tour we were called asking where we were. We explained what I wrote above, and as requested, sent screen shots of our confirmations for 2:00. We arrived at Borghese Gallery to find no tour guide. My friend attempted to call but the call would be disconnected each time. We are extremely disappointed and expect a full refund!

I can’t review it because we didn’t get to do it. Viator had us scheduled at the wrong time. And then we got the ticket voucher the correct time and their tour guide failed to show up. I will be requesting a refund .
