I do all my research before picking a tour. Today we did this tour with Sandra and IT WAS GREAT!! Super easy meet up spot. The man there is so kind. Sandra was sweet and very informative. Definitely would recommend this tour!

Great to be part of a group at the Vatican City, as otherwise the crowds can be overwhelming. Being with a group made the experience much smoother, more organized, and far more enjoyable.

Our tour guide, Chiara, was wonderful. Lively, informative, and funny. Would highly recommend this tour. Be prepared for a fair amount of walking and large crowds.

Maximo was our tour guide and he was incredible! He was very knowledgeable on all aspects of the tour, he was respectful and most of all he was funny. He made the tour very enjoyable with his good attitude and funny jokes. I would recommend this tour to all visitors and their family or friends!

Guided tour with excellent guide Parla. It is packed out so has to be done with a guide and so packed with interesting stuff you can only see a small bit . Sistine chapel is so interesting especially once explained . It was very noisy in there sadly even though it is a place of worship. We were too tired to really explore the awesome basilica after the tour of the museum

Chiara was experienced, witty, and warm and an absolute joy to be around. With over 15,000 artworks and sculptures in the Vatican, it can feel overwhelming, but she guided us effortlessly through the most important highlights in the museums. The Sistine Chapel and St. Peter’s Basilica were self-guided visits, but thanks to her engaging introduction, we appreciated them much more.

Very informative. However meet up directions could use a lot of improvement. How about indicating meeting inside a store front and not at steps 50 feet away where 20 other tour meetups are taking place. And have someone outside on sidewalk with flag and recognizable shirt to better indicate your Gruop to standout from other tour group leaders with flags. Also be ready for a lot of walking including up and down several flights of stairs. Almost missed the tour due to confusing meet up location.

What an amazing experience! The starting point for the group to meet was one block away from the entrance and very easy to find with their directions. Our tour guide, Kiana, was a history major and from the start, you could tell the passion and excitement she had for our tour. Her instructions were clear and took every moment to share historical information so we were well-informed as we navigated the maze of the Vatican. The density of the art, sculptures, mosaics, murals, etc. was so overwhelming and we were grateful to have her lead us through each section with intention and mindfulness. Before we reached the Sistine Chapel, she gave us an overview so by the time we finished our tour and we were free to enter the chapel, we felt informed and could appreciate the history on the walls in a deeper way. She made our experience so memorable and I would highly recommend leading with a tour before going on your own to explore. Another thing to note, it was packed with people. We got the 8am tour and I recommend going as early as you can. A must-go experience!

Our Vatican, Sistine Chapel, and St Peter’s tour with Massimo was fabulous. The skip-the-queue option was definitely worthwhile, although it still took quite a while to actually get into the Vatican Museums, even with Massimo’s expert navigation through the crowds and the building.
That said, my only real complaint is that I wish I’d booked a longer tour with him. Massimo was incredibly knowledgeable, engaging, and funny. He brought the history of the Vatican and its artists vividly to life, mixing rich stories of the popes with snippets of Renaissance gossip and drama that made the whole experience even more memorable.

Go into this experience with plenty of time,
Rest and a belly of food. There is so much to see and appreciate at the Vatican that you can go 10 times and see something different every time. The tour guide made it super easy to get in and explain the history of the most amazing pieces of art.
