Lots of interesting info, but it was a little slower than expected. Lots of standing or sitting around listening and looking at pictures. Also went 3 hours and I expected 2, and 2 would've been more appropriate as well. But the tour guide was very knowledgeable and you could tell he was passionate about it as well, as a local who has been effected by this history.

Until the crypt there is not much to see. A few plaques and gold stars on sidewalk.
So it is the narrative of the guide that makes this worthwhile. She did a phenomenal job.
We also the tavern rest break with pictures and a beer.

Very interesting tour! There is so much history about WW2 in Prague. Really enjoyed Hanna. Thank you!

Pavel the guide was extremely knowledgeable on all aspects of the pre WW2 era and resistance movement during the war.
Abilio_A, Jul 2026
An excellent experience. The guide was exceptionally well prepared and respectful throughout the tour. Very recommended

Hannah was an amazing tour guide. We had a group of 4 total and she was so kind giving everyone her attention and answering our questions to the fullest. In total it lasted 3 hours. We walked around the city, stopped for a beer (compliments of the tour!) and got to hold artifacts and then hopped on the tram (ticket included with tour) to go see the crypt. Overall would 100% recommend to anyone looking to really understand the history of Prague during WW2 and why this beautiful city still stands today.

It was a great way to see the city and learn about its history! Would highly recommend for anyone interested in WW2!

Absolutely incredible tour! Our tour guide knew an incredible amount of history and presented it in a compelling and informative way. The tour was about 3 hours and 15 min- not too much walking and there is part in the middle where you are seated for about 30 min. Had the chance to see and hold artifacts which were chilling and added even more to the experience. Highly highly recommend

The guide was extremely knowledgeable. He is passionate about passing on what he knows. He took us to a little restaurant that was closed and we filled a room of tables while he shared more stories and trinkets and photos from the war that he had collected. We really enjoyed this tour and highly recommend it.

It was extremely well presented, interesting and informative. We enjoyed the break in the bar half way through which was very welcome

Learned a lot about WW2 in Prague and impact on Czechs, and Jews from our very passionate and highly knowledgeable guide. My son summed it up by calling the history haunting. You could feel it especially in the antropoid Crypt.

It wasn’t what I expected the information was good from the guide but very disappointed at the end as he left us find our own way back to our hotel and we felt that was bad he should’ve taken us back to where we met him on the square
Alice_M, Jun 2026
Very informative tour with lots of stop off places which were very significant in Czech history. Hannah our guide was very knowledgeable and passionate about the Czech history. It was hot and very busy so could be a challenge for some visitors in the group to stand or hear everything.
The break was very welcomed.
Could’ve done with better instructions re the meeting place. Maybe need to say guide will be next to Powder Gate waiting in the square with an umbrella. We were looking for the building number and an office/ticket booth.

Our guide was not only highly knowledgeable but also passionate about this history. It was a pleasure to go on this tour, though it is aimed at people with more than passing interest in Heydrich’s assassination and World War 2 in the land of the Czechs. A few people tired at the end but that could be the excellent craft beer that we drank during final lecture.

Interesting and informative tour guide , passionate about the subject and showed parts of history you would of just walked past
Marian_B, Jun 2026
Good information given by knowledgeable lady. Haf not.realised a lot of what she spoke.about in relation to the soxirt era
Dave_F, Jun 2026
Trip was very informative on the Czech history from 1918 to 1946. Lots of walking and talking. The only downside was the tour ended a ways from the starting point and the guide left us there. We had to navigate a unfamiliar subway system to find our way back.
Logan_K, Jun 2026
Hana was an amazing and funny tour guide! Would recommend, so many interesting facts. Seeing the collection of memorabilia was fascinating.
Phillip_V, Jun 2026
Our guide Hana was great. Very knowledgeable, pleasant, and presented the subject matter in a way that was easy to process and understand. Highly recommended!

Paulo(Paul) is so passionate about this subject that it is quite obvious on his tour!! He is well-researched and has many personal artifacts that he will share with you! The story of the Czechs as they deal with the Nazis is riveting and you’ll visit the places that were tantalizing in the telling. Well done Paul!!

Brilliant tour
Guide was really knowledgeable, not too much walking between stops. If you are into WW2 then this is a must
Barbara_N, May 2026
Tour leader was very knowledgable and passionate about both Operation Anthropoid and all things related to WWII. Must see the crypt and best early on in the experience as it explains in detail the sequence of Operation Anthropoid.
Vidal_C, May 2026
The tour was very interesting, thorough in the history and fascinating. It is about three hours so make sure you have good walking shoes.
Mahua_G, May 2026
Our guide had been amazing. Very passionately explained the history of Czech Republic leading Upto World War II and post that. I am leaving Prague with quite a good knowledge. Thanks
Mary_P, May 2026
Paul had a knowledge and passion for everything surrounding Project Anthropoid. A truly memorable experience!
Jason_T, May 2026
Tour guide was great and supremely knowledgeable! Very thankful for the education and insight into Czech WWII involvement. That said, be aware that there’s a lot of talking and history lesson on the tour and not as much “touring” around. Still great but set expectations, there’s sitting and listening that was half of the tour.
Marnie_K, May 2026
It was great. Hanna was very informative and had lots of information and family stories about the Nazi occupation and then the soviets after. She was very nice and it was nice to take a break and have a pop halfway through the tour. Also nice to take the tram instead of walking the whole way (I’m very tired!). Highly recommend.
Doug_H, May 2026
Interesting insight to what this nation endured during WWII, and there was terrific information regarding operation Anthropoid. The guide also had a briefcase full of interesting documents and pictures.
All stated, it was a lovely tour.
Paul_H, Apr 2026
Our tour guide was a local full of knowledge and we both really enjoyed this tour and got to learn some things we were unaware of.
