Fantastic tour, well-paced, informative without being stuffy. Our guide was Panna and she was terrific. Highly recommended - you’ll learn so much. We had gorgeous weather as well, and lots of opportunities to take photos.

The guide talks about history of Hungary. At most 10% is about the buildings and monuments .

The Free Walking Tour in the Buda Castle area was an excellent experience and a wonderful way to explore one of the most beautiful parts of Budapest. Our guide Panna was lovely, knowledgeable, and engaging throughout, bringing the history of the castle district to life with interesting stories and local insights. The architecture around Fisherman’s Bastion, Matthias Church, and the surrounding streets was absolutely stunning, with incredible views across the city at every turn. The whole experience was enjoyable, well-paced, and a great introduction to Budapest’s rich history and culture.

Overall good tour. Saw all the sights around the Buda side of the city. Geza was a knowledgeable guide and provided us with restaurant and bakery recommendations at the conclusion of the tour. My only recommendation is provide an audio device to the people who are on the tour. Geza spoke quietly in some cases and with all of the background noise from others and street noise it was sometimes different to hear.

Totally waisted time - tour guide took us from one monument to another and did not mention a single fact about its history. He talked about himself only. I did understand how a company with a hifgh reputation such as Viator can do business wuth someone of such low qualifications.

Claudia was absolutely brilliant! Her tour was so fun, funny, and informative. She covered so much ground and told us all about history, politics, modern day goings-on, and general fun facts. I know how to read horse statues now! Who knew leg placement meant something! Honestly I majored in history and I learned more about Budapest in this 2 hour tour than I did in a 4 year degree 😅 (maybe that's on me but I think Claudia deserves endless credit for how much info she is able to pack into such a short time). Honestly can't recommend it enough. 💯/10 A++ would do again without a single hesitation

Klaudia has a great sense of humour which made our tour even more enjoyable. We learnt interesting faces and got a good overview of Hungarian history. This tour of 2 hours was so enjoyable. Our guide, I think her name was Paloma, was so knowledgeable and loved to share the history of her country and the amazing city of Budapest with the group. She was always happy to take questions and was such an engaging tour guide. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who is keen to learn about the history of Budapest in an interactive way .
