He explained the history and gave us the inside story on many of the statues, paintings and artifacts which made the day more enjoyable. Wonderful tour with Nuno

We booked a 5 hour tour, and had time to see the grounds of Pena Palace and enjoy some pastries in Sintra. Our guide Nuno was wonderful, and was able answer all our questions about the history of Portugal, as well as describing the highlights of Sintra. Indespensible Tour Guide

Margarida exceeded our expectations by miles. She was born and raised in Lisbon and knows it like the back of her hand. She picked us at the airport and took us directly to Sintra. She walked everywhere with us and gave the history and interesting information about everything we saw. She took pictures of us at so many interesting sites. She used to be a professional photographer so the pictures turned out great (no charge). She is a caring and friendly person, and she was always looking out for us. Because of her I highly recommend Viator. If you are booking in Lisbon, ask for Margarida.

We took the tour to Sintra and Cascais with Bruno and it was an amazing experience. Bruno was great at explaining the history of Sintra and Portugal and at answering our questions. Great day!!!

I think that this was the highlight of our Europe, vacation! Our tour guide was just the best!! he even had blankets for us in the jeep. In case we got cold, which we did because it turned out being a rainy day in Sintra. We had so much fun and highly enjoyed all of the places that he took us to. I think that this is a much better way to see the attractions then on a big bus. I highly suggest if you have time that you book this particular tour with this particular guide. He had a lot of good history information, and made the tour fun for myself and my daughter! Cannot say enough, good things about this day!

Excellent service . Knowledgeable driver/tour guide . Just the right length of tour . Walking to pena palace is a nice longish walk if not used to walking but definitely well worth the walk .Palace really busy but amazing ! Lunch absolutely delicious and quaint restaurant . The Sintra shoreline and beaches are amazing . Ricardo was an excellent tour guide - great sense of humour and good knowledge .

Tuktuk is best way to experience Sintra

Would highly suggest this tour as the best way to experience Sintra, especially with kids SIntra is a spectacular place to see, but with its hilly terrain, the tuktuk with really great guides is the only way to do it. We did not really expect to go to the beach, but we were so glad that the tour included stops at a few different beach spots and those were really a highlight of the tour and the coastline in Sintra in beautiful. Would highly recommend.
