Along country roads, among trulli, farmhouses and dry stone walls, I will show you the places I love and experience every day by pedaling together for 20 km (about 12 miles). We start from Alberobello, the capital of the trulli, towards Locorotondo, the most evocative village in the Valle d'Itria: where a tasty stop at a traditional local bakery awaits us. We will taste the typical Apulian focaccia freshly baked by Giovanni, accompanied by a glass of wine. Afterwards, before returning to Alberobello, we will stop at the pastry shop of Signora Maria to taste the almond sweets of our tradition. On the way back we will consume seasonal fruits, picking them directly from the trees (cherries, figs, fioroni, pears, blackberries, mulberries). Each of us had the joy of preparing our own pasta from scratch and creating our very own tiramisu. Then, the wonderful chefs cooked our creations for us, and we gathered around the table to enjoy the delicious dishes we had made ourselves, accompanied by two excellent wines. And the grand finale? Our heavenly homemade tiramisu paired with delicious homemade limoncello! The food and the restaurants our guide, Paola were fantastic! The focaccia and the polpo were absolutely amazing, hands down the best polpo I’ve ever tasted! However, what really made this tour rise above others, was Paola! The depth of knowledge of Bari Vecchia she imparted to us in the three hours we spent with her was immeasurable! In addition to the culinary experience, she provided archaeological, historical, cultural, and religious insights too numerous to list. She not only demonstrated her passion for her city and its rich history, but also her day job as a representative for local olive oil mill. Upon departing us for the evening, she provided us with her top three favorite Bari restaurants, which we of course, had to try, and neither of them failed to disappoint!

Perfect afternoon on the water

I ordered the pick up option from Polignano a Mare as the actual boat harbour is in San Vito which would otherwise be 50 minutes on foot from Polignano. The driver was waiting early in the waiting spot as intended, and we had a great chat, super friendly guy local to the area. The boat was comfortable but recommend sitting at the front (as I did) to avoid being splashed at the back of the back, front also best spot for photos. We had time for a quick swim at the end and they gave us generous prosecco. Beautiful tour and felt very comfortable as a solo traveller.

The staff were very helpful, the guide, Sabrina was very knowledgeable, and passed on information very well, in 3 languages. The coach was comfortable. The three cities we visited were lovely, and Sabrina did her best to make sure we didn't get lost. The brochure was brilliant, with the maps and details of the important sites to see. In general, it could not have been better.

Vincenzio was an excellent chef, teacher, story teller. His passion for preserving the old Italian ways were clear throughout the day. He was patient, offering individual advice as we all learned a new skill. The ending meal was fabulous. I would highly recommend this, but it is important to note it is not in a home. It is in a cooking school right on one of the main streets of Polignano a mare - super easy to find.

The Three Town Tour

This 3-town tour is amazing. It does involve a great deal of walking, especially as a coach, such as we had, can only park away from the sites of interest. The town of Alberobello is of particular interest with its fascinating conical Trulli buildings. The local guide who was engaged for visiting the Trulli was extremely good, very clear and gave good information and not too much. The pace of that part was just right for all ages and abilities. He explained what we were going to experience. The coach courier was not so explicit and it would have helped for us to be pre-advised (preferably on the journey to the towns) as to what we should expect to see and experience when we arrived at Locorotondo and Ostuni. In each case we were led uphill in hot sunshine for an unknown (at the outset) distance, and then were given a quick summary of what we could or might see in and around the town, and when we should meet. At Ostuni there was a fleet of TukTuks roaming the town. For a few members of the coach party, an option maybe could be made available to use these. This would have been a great relief on such a hot day at what was the final place on the trip to explore

Experience is exactly as described. This is a 1.5 hour tour that has an easy to find meeting point. It shows the caves, and that famous restaurant. Before coming back, you can jump off the boat for a quick swim. I highly recommend it. It is just the right length. No shoes worn on boat and collected before boarding. Wear bathing suit.

Best tour, guide and energy in Bari

5 stars does not feel like it's strong enough. Rating for this company period if you are lucky enough to get raphael. As your guy, you will have a day that you will never forget period his energy enthusiasm and love for people shines through in everything. He does period he makes sure that everyone has a good time and feels included every step of the way and gives you all of the information you could ever want about the areas you're exploring period someone in our group had a mobility issue, and raphael took his time to make sure that person was able to get in and out and accommodated in every place that we stopped. He was a true gem. We would suggest this to anyone traveling to Bari. We cannot wait to return to barry next summer to see our friend. Rafael, again and go on another great adventure with him

A must do experience in Polignano a Mare!

Fun boat tour along the coast. Amazing views. A stop for a swim and a nice glass of fizz was a bonus! Only around 10 passengers so fairly "private". We did it at 4pm on 22nd June, so just about missed the worst heat of the day. One thing to note. The pier where the boats leave from is a good 25 minute walk from the train station, and no footpath for some of it. At our request, the organisers booked us a taxi for our return to Polignano town afterwards, which was a much better option.

This was a comprehensive walking tour of Bari. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and very passionate about sharing information about Bari. She was able to communicate fluently in English. We were able to see all the sights and learn about them . The food tasting ( focaccia Barese) was an amazing treat during the tour. The only thing she could probably adjust was to walk a little bit slower because not everyone can walk the same speed as her especially on the busiest streets. We also had a hard time finding the meeting spot. The address mentioned on the meeting point was confusing. We almost missed the tour in spite of being in the vicinity 30 minutes before the start of the tour.
