Flamenco Beach is...
Flamenco Beach is stunning, but having guides who genuinely care about their guests made the day unforgettable. Thank you, Laura and Sebastian, for making this one of the highlights of my trip to Puerto Rico. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the island!

Our rainforest tour with...
Our rainforest tour with Shaly Rodriguez was amazing. She’s a natural guide, full of knowledge, super friendly, and so much fun to be around. She kept the entire group engaged the whole time and made the excursion unforgettable. We enjoyed every single minute. If you get the chance, book with her. We would definitely go back!

Pros, cons, and notes
This expense was amazing and I definitely would recommend it as a way to see both the rainforest and bio bay. The included transportation is definitely a plus. I’ll list some pros and cons as well as notes below.
Pros: the guides are extremely helpful and informative. They make sure if you want to do it you are able to. The kayaking is a separate experience with different guides, who are equally as good. The smoothie place you stop at on the way was really good and the provide fruit, drinks, and snacks after the hiking.
Cons: this trip definitely isn’t for someone who doesn’t want to put the work in. They let you stay back and skip the cliff jump, water slide, and rope swing if you want but I feel like if you do that you’re missing out on a lot of the experience. They had us order the food for dinner in the morning and it wasn’t ready until an hour and a half after we got to the restaurant.
Tips: they say to bring extra clothes and towels but we didn’t use either. There’s not much time to dry off. For the change of clothes you get wet during the hiking and the kayaking so there’s no point in changing between the two. I would recommend a long sleeve shirt for the kayaking to avoid mosquitoes. You do need good hiking shoes that get fully submerged during the hiking, we brought flip flops so we wouldn’t be in wet sneakers and socks the rest of the day. You don’t need much honestly, we over packed. They provide water and snacks throughout the day. You CANT bring anything with you into the forest, everything is left secured on the bus. Leave jewelry and valuables at your hotel.
Overall this was an amazing experience and i definitely would recommend this over anything else. The staff is very kind, helpful, and responsive.

Amazing snorkeling and beach trip
Though we got an email the day before that the snorkeling would not be possible near the shores of Culebra Island due to strong currents (which would also cancel the Flamingo Bay trip) and instead we would be going to Vieques Island. The tour company gave us an option to cancel the tour or rebook it at a future date. We decided to stick with it since it was at short notice given the few days we had in Puerto Rico. To our surprise, based on the weather conditions on the day of departure, the crew was able to stick to the original itinerary to Culebra Island. The crew was friendly, courteous and very professional. One thing I would say is if someone has motion sickness, I would consider avoiding the tour or taking some medicine prior to boarding, since waves can be quite choppy sometimes. One of the passengers had quite a tough time dealing with it.

Great crew - fun trip - worth doing!
Fun afternoon on the water with a great crew including Stephanie and Oscar, and worth doing.
The boat held about 40 people and every seat was taken. There was a good amount of shade but the people in back were soaked during the trip out. It was a little choppy but not too rough. After about 25 mins we arrived at snorkel spot. It was windy and current was strong so a couple people decided not to snorkel and just swam near the boat. You need to be a decent swimmer for the snorkel. Then we went to the Icacos Island. Other boats anchor there also but it creates a party atmosphere. Our boat had music but was more mellow. We anchored there and had lunch of sandwiches and salads served by the crew. Then we had time to swim and enjoy the beach for about an hour before heading back. We enjoyed the trip and time on the water and at the island.

Trustworthy
Highly recommend! Our driver, Tito was professional and friendly and guided us on what to expect from the ferry experience to the Island. He also assisted with travel arrangements on the island. He was on time and accessible at the number provided. We had a great experience!

Tour With Transport Awesome!
Awesome tour! We went with a group of 4 ladies, and we had an excellent time. There are several other “Old San Juan Walking Tours” but this tour with TRANSPORT (hotel pick-up, transport to Old San Juan, and then drop-off back at the hotel) was worth paying the little higher price. Our guide (Michelle) was excellent, very well spoken and well versed in Puerto Rico’s history. The driver was very nice and friendly. Although there is transportation, the tour still requires walking through the beautiful streets of Old San Juan.

The rainforest hike was...
The rainforest hike was absolutely incredible from start to finish. The scenery was breathtaking, with lush greenery, beautiful wildlife, and peaceful trails that made the entire experience unforgettable.
What truly made the tour exceptional was our guides Juan and Pedro. Pedro was knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about the rainforest, sharing fascinating facts and making sure everyone felt comfortable and engaged throughout the journey. Their enthusiasm and expertise made the experience even more enjoyable and memorable. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for an amazing outdoor adventure!

The loved the kayaking...
The loved the kayaking trip. It's a unique experience to add to your Puerto Rico itinerary. At first I was nervous about where to meet them given that they do not have a permanent location on the beach. But, they will up in a large truck with their name on the side hauling about 20 bright green kayaks. You can't miss them! The staff is friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this tour.

Wonderful Crew
We had an amazing time! Because of choppy waters, we were diverted to another beach, but it didn't stop anyone from having a good time. There were plenty of water toys and the water itself was warm and inviting. The lunch was also pretty good, offering chicken sandwiches and burgers. The on-board drinks were also wonderful. As a whole, my family was very well taken care of, and I would definitely recommend East Island Excursions. Their crew was attentive and extremely helpful!
