This experience was soooo much fun. My group and I really enjoyed ourselves. You definitely get your money’s worth. The length of the excursion was perfect. We also had opportunities to stop and take group photos and see the farm. So fun!

Travelers are responsible for their own transportation to Campo Rico Adventures. Use “Hacienda Campo Rico – Mi Casa” in GPS for directions. At the entrance gate, inform the guard of your activity to enter. Check-in is inside the farm at the Mojito Bar.

Itinerary

Meet your guide and fellow ATV adventurers at Hacienda Campo Rico, a sprawling complex about a 30-minute drive outside of San Juan. Learn about how to safely operate an ATV before strapping on your helmet and climbing aboard your personal ATV for one.

Follow your guide out into the countryside, passing near mangroves, lagoons, and limestone formations along the way. Keep an eye out for wildlife as you zip through the area, and take a few breaks along the way so that you can listen to your guide tell you about the natural and historic features of the area.

At the end of your tour, spend a bit of time relaxing at a hilltop Mojito bar, where you can sip on the beverages of your choice while taking in the views.

Total ride duration is approximately 2 hours, including a brief driving demonstration, explanation of safety rules, and short rest stops
All guests must be 16 years or older and have a VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE (learner, probationary, suspended, permits licenses, ID's, or passports are not accepted for driving).
Bring a VISA or Mastercard to hold a ATV damage deposit.
Pregnant women and guests with back/neck injuries or heart conditions are not permitted on this excursion
Helmets are provided. Closed-toe shoes are required. Long pants, sunscreen, sunglasses, and a change of clothing are recommended
Wear clothes that you don't mind getting dirty
Intoxicated individuals under the influence of alcohol or other substances are not permitted in the experience, and no refunds will be issued
Please note, this experience may be too high-impact for some travelers

This was a really fun outing with my family. The tour route was adventurous and the scenery was great. The most impressive part was our tour guide, William. We assumed he had leading tours for years because he was very knowledgeable and attentive, but we discovered he was fairly new. William did an excellent job! Even though it was raining he made it a great experience for us. I highly recommend this ATV tour and the tour guide William. Thanks

Thay cut our trip half. They said we will start at 9 and finish at 11 we started at 9.30 and finished at 10.30 I don't recommend this company to anyone .

At Campo Rico Trail Rides, safety is our highest priority. Before every tour begins, all participants receive a mandatory safety briefing and sign documents acknowledging that they understand and agree to follow all guidelines and instructions provided by our staff. These policies are in place to protect not only each participant, but also the rest of the group, our guides, and the property. During your tour, multiple members of your group repeatedly ignored the safety rules and regulations despite being warned several times by our guides. Your behavior became reckless and disruptive to the overall experience, and other guests expressed concerns and complaints regarding the situation to the staff. Because of this, our employees made the professional and responsible decision to end your participation in the tour early for the safety of everyone involved — including your own safety. Being removed from the activity due to failure to follow the established rules is considered an inability to complete the tour, which is why refunds do not apply under our policies. We reject the statement that we acted dishonestly. Our team followed the same procedures and safety standards that apply equally to every guest. These are adult activities that require participants to behave responsibly and follow instructions at all times, especially when operating vehicles and participating in outdoor adventure experiences. Which is why we have a zero-tolerance policy. We always strive to provide a safe, enjoyable, and professional experience for all of our guests, and the vast majority of visitors complete their tours successfully by respecting the guidelines established at check-in and during the introduction of your tour. I Didn’t Get What I Paid For

I made an online ATV reservation for my partner and I. The website is unclear regarding if the passenger on a 2-person ATV is required to make a separate payment or not. So I paid $149 apiece for two people; total $298. We checked in on location and explained to their staff that I would like to ride on the same ATV as my partner. They agreed but stated that I should’ve only paid $149. However, I was denied a $149 refund even though we rode together on the same ATV and the transaction was made via credit card. In my opinion, the site needs to be more specific about their fees for individual ATV riders vs. two riders on one ATV. And/or the company should’ve refunded half of my payment in its entirety ($149).

Hello, Thank you for sharing your feedback. We appreciate the opportunity to clarify how our ATV booking system works. Our website clearly provides different booking options depending on the type of experience guests would like to reserve. Single rider ATVs and Double rider ATVs are listed separately because they have different pricing structures and equipment allocations. Guests who wish to ride together on the same ATV must specifically select the Double ATV option during the reservation process. In your case, two separate single-rider reservations were completed online, which reserved and prepared two individual ATVs for your tour time. By the time of your arrival, the staff, guides, and equipment had already been scheduled and assigned according to the reservation that was made. Although our team tried to accommodate your request on-site by allowing both participants to ride together, this does not change the fact that the original reservation booked and held two ATV spots. You did not get what you paid for upon YOUR REQUEST. The reservation was made for 2 Single rider ATVs, we had 2 Single ATVs for you, instead you decided to switch to 1 Double rider on site. That's our way to accommodate your wish so you can have the experience you wanted. As stated in our policies, reservations become non-refundable past a certain point because the operational costs, staffing, and vehicle preparation are already committed based on the confirmed booking selections made by you. Unfortunately, booking the incorrect option does not qualify for a refund adjustment after check-in. We always encourage guests to carefully review the booking options before completing payment, and our team is also available to answer questions before reservations are finalized. We appreciate your visit and hope this helps clarify the situation.

We did the ATV ride and horseback riding tour and both exceeded my expectations. I would suggest doing ATV first then horseback riding as a calm down after fast riding. Beautiful area and all of the staff were very helpful and friendly! Food was bomb and home made the pinchos and empanadas were my favorite. Would recommend and come back and do it again bcus it was so much fun

Definitely worth the money, from the trail, to the tour guides everything was amazing.. and they were very helpful! Although it did rain, part of the time it was still great. I would suggest to maybe bring a pair of clothes in case but 10/10 this is a good experience to have!

Fun ATV ride. Had never done an ATV and couldn’t believe how well they could have the fast speeds and terrains. Our group of 6 went fast throughout the trip. Got to experience different terrains. 2 hours felt right- would have kept going… would imagine it would be a lot of fun if it were rainy/wet too.

Our tour guide was Giann and he was amazing, he was very kind and made sure we were having fun and not straying far from the group the entire time. You will definitely get dirty but the scenic views and the adorable animals (and little gators) are definitely worth it. I would 100% do this experience again and maybe next time I will try the horseback riding or ziplining that they offered as well. 10/10 would recommend.

Super fun! Worth the money and experience. Customer service was amazing! Empanadas was so good. On the tour you’ll see a lot of different animals and nature. Will get super dirty so wear clothes accordingly.

Our ATV tour instructor Naomi was super awesome and made the experience fun and engaging for everyone! I highly recommend giving this a try but wear goggles!! Don’t make the same mistake I did and forget protective eyewear 😅

If you’re on a cruise

This experience was fantastic. I was with 3 17 year old boys for their spring break. I booked this outside of our cruise as an excursion. Things I wish I had known: 1. This is not close to the ports. 40 min drive one way. We couldn’t get off our ship until 11 and came rolling in hot. 2. I’d recommend pre scheduling an uber. Our driver also agreed to come pick us up after. If he had not I don’t know what I would have done. The location isn’t terribly easy to find and requesting a driver that far away from port is dicey. Pre arrange on both sides. 3. They don’t take Amex and you have to have a credit card handy when you check in. Yes even if you prepaid. You have to physically have the card w you. They won’t budge. Thank God one of the boys had his debit card w a visa logo on it. 4. It is dusty beyond belief. Bring ski goggles and something to cover your nose and mouth. Again, we really enjoyed the experience and highly recommend. Just sharing some helpful tips

This was a great tour hour experience. The tour is on 2300 acres property. The ride is adventurous and the tour guides are exceptionally polite. You can enjoy delicious food and drinks at the mojito bar.

If you can’t stomach, animals being mistreated, do not take this tour.

They stopped halfway at what they termed a “petting zoo”. It’s really sickening. They have tons of animals, all caged up with no water in the middle of the heat without any cover and a pig walking around that clearly needs medical care. While the ATV riding was OK it definitely ruined the trip for us to see animals being treated this way. They should stick to what they know which is clearly not animals or how to care for them.
