All Fajardo Tours & Excursions in 2026

We chose this particular tour because it was one of the few I could find that didn't include transportation. We were staying in Luquillo and didn't want to drive to San Juan and back just for the van ride. We met Luis near el Yunque and followed him to meet up with Raymond and the other half of our group at the rainforest. They were both kind and had so much to teach us about el Yunque! I had considered touring the rainforest without a guide, but there's no way we would have found the beautiful spots without Luis and Raymond. Their guidance (and help crossing the rocks) was worth every penny of the tour price. I would recommend this to anyone as long as they don't have challenges with mobility. One tip: We saw a lot of rainforest but the bulk of the time spent here was for the waterslides and cliff jumping. If you're thinking about this tour but don't want to do the slides, jumps, or rope swing, you'll be sitting at the base of the waterfall for a long time while the rest of your group plays around. I don't think it would be worth booking this particular tour if you aren't interested in the adventurous parts. We had lunch plans already, but at the end of the tour we were offered the chance to follow Raymond and the group to a local lunch spot. It would have been fun to spend more time with the group if we didn't have something else booked, so keep that in mind! ALSO! Don't wear sunscreen or bug spray. It's damaging for the plants in the rainforest, and you'll feel better having done your part to preserve this natural wonder.

our guide brittany was incredible! she told us what to expect along the way and had fun facts about the land and nature around us. the hike was pretty easy and brittany helped us up on the more difficult terrain. everything you have on your person will get wet so be prepared to leave everything in the car. our guide was great about taking photos and videos of us along the way and the phone wasn’t missed! it was actually really nice to just be in the forest with my friends and taking it all in.

The boat was stocked with everything we needed for a beautiful day at the beach including drinks, tents, and snorkeling gear. It was such a lovely experience for adults and even our 6,4,3 and 9 month old! The crew was very kind, helpful, and we felt very safe. Would 100 percent do this again!! The water, island, and reef were gorgeous. The water was turquoise blue and great for swimming and snorkeling.
