Great way to learn about the history of Paris

I would recommend this tour of Père Lachaise Cemetery. It is a great way to get a snapshot of the social and cultural history of Paris. Our tour guide Nelly Glorian was outstanding. She had an encyclopaedic knowledge of the cemetery and the history of Paris in general. Her expertise and enthusiasm really brought to life the stories of the people buried in this cemetery.

A fun enjoyable ride. With your driver guide you can agree what you want to see & where to go or you can use his recommendation. We used our drivers recommendation & went to Montmartre/Sacre Coeur. On a steep hill, so useful to avoid the walk up. We drove around small cobbled streets & enjoyed the Montmartre/Sacre Coeur atmosphere. The driver provided helmuts & gloves & would have provided a poncho if required, but no rain, so not required. This was a first for me as i had not sat on a motorbike before. A practical way of getting around areas of Paris. Our driver pointed out sights & gave us info during the trip.

Great Tour! Make sure to ask for Saeed!

I've always wanted to visit the Catacombs, so when I was planning a visit, I did not think a tour guide was necessary. Thankfully I opted to go with the guide, which made the experience that much more interesting and memorable. Our tour guide, Saeed, was awesome. The tour itself was very interesting. The only thing they should do is make sure the connection for the radios works better as if you were in the back you couldn’t hear what the guide was saying. Or have the guide wait til he has the whole group within range Be ready for the 112 steps out of there. There was alot of huffing and puffing lol

Great tour!

I was surprised by how much I enjoyed this tour. The tour was very respectful that this is a "cemetery". Our guide J Junohn was great! He was very knowledgeable on the history of the catacombs. If you go I highly recommend paying the extra for the VIP extra rooms. It was all around a great experience.

Pretty cool tour

We had a really good tour. I unfortunately cannot recall our tour guides name but he was really informative and we loved hearing all the behind the scene stories . It was cold and rainy the day we went but he made the best of it for us. The cemetery was super cool and we enjoy the history that was incorporated with the eerie. If you’re into Off the beaten path kind of cool then don’t miss this tour!
