An Unforgettable Experience Along the Amalfi Coast!

This was hands down my favorite excursion I have EVER done! If you are visiting Naples, especially on a cruise, I cannot recommend this experience enough! Our driver, Luigi, was absolutely AMAZING! He was incredibly knowledgeable about Naples, Pompeii, Sorrento, and the Amalfi Coast, sharing so much history and information about each destination along the way. He truly made the entire experience so special, and I am forever grateful! We were visiting Naples on a cruise and only had about eight hours in port, so timing was extremely important. Luigi went above and beyond to make sure we had enough time to explore and enjoy each destination while being very mindful of our cruise ship’s departure time. He made the entire day feel seamless, and we never had to worry about getting back to the ship on time! The scenery along the coast was absolutely breathtaking, and getting to experience the beautiful towns, incredible landscapes, and rich history of this part of Italy was something I will never forget. If you have a full day in Naples, PLEASE book this excursion! Whether you’re arriving by cruise ship or simply visiting the area, it is 100% worth it. This was truly one of the highlights of my entire trip to Europe, and I cannot say enough wonderful things about Luigi and this experience. I would do it all over again in a heartbeat! Sorrento/Positano/Amalfi bus/boat tour -Oct 2026

The bus/boat tour to Sorrento, Positano, and Amalfi was excellent. Nina and Luigi our hosts were awesome. Very friendly and walked us thru each step of the tour. Each city was a little crowded but overall we got to experience a little piece of each town and bring back a few souvenirs. The boat trip in Amalfi will give you incredible photos of the coastline too. It’s a long day beginning at 7am - 5pm so make sure to bring good walking shoes, sunscreen, water bottle, and light bag for carrying items. There is not much time to sit and eat so make sure you just grab and go. Overall a great tour.

This was an amazing tour. Our guide, Mario, was the absolute best. The tour was loaded with amazing street food. Definitely show up hungry. There's no shortage of delicious foods on this tour. We loved every minute of it, learning a bit about Naples and diving into the street food. 10/10 would recommend this to anyone traveling to Naples!

2 Great Sites - 1 Fantastic Day!!!!!

Getting to visit Vesuvius and one of the archeological Pompeii sites in 1 day, and not having to worry about traffic, tickets, or what am I looking at both sites was fantastic. Mario, tour guide, was fabulous. He provided great information, not only about Vesuvius, but also about the geological features that make up the greater Naples area. He paced the narrative so it wasn't information overload. Be ready for a moderate incline hike on uneven ground at Vesuvius. The elevation gain is 570ft over 1.24 miles. Really good workout. The audio guide was good and views fantastic. Since you're going up in elevation, depending on weather, it will be hotter or cooler on the trail and at the rim. It was quite breezy at the start, and overcast. However, clouds broke up, breeze stopped and it was warm at rim. Do pace yourself, however don't pause to long on the trail as you have about 90 minutes. It was then off to lunch, which is on your own. 1 hour for lunch. There's usual street food and touristy restaurants in one direction and a good restaurant in the other "Varnelli" and if you tell them your with Askos tour, they'll get you out in an hour. It was enough time for Seafood Risotto and Seared Octopus starter, great tasting! Then it's off to the archeological Pompeii site. Having an archeological tour guide was fantastic as was the provided radio airbuds. Didn't have to worry about not hearing. Alfredo was fantastic, he took the time to answer everyone's question, explain not only the history, but also nuanced items: lead pipes used for water, why beds so small 🫣, graffiti corner🤭, etc.. He set an easy pace. Would definitely recommend this tour if you want to maximize your time and not have to worry about logistics.

Firstly It’s all day. Be patient with the pick ups they can take a bit of time, will help if you’re there in good time. It feels a bit chaotic but they will call your name. Our guide Titi was fantastic. Spoke Italian. Spanish and my language English. She gave us plenty of info and time. The mini coach was nice, modern with air con and phone charging points but the seats and belts are a bit snug. The driver was a real pro with some breath taking views and winding cliff top roads. The Amalfi trip was beautiful with a stop off in Amalfi itself a beautiful place. We took the optional boat trip €15 each but well worth it. The guys on the boat were fantastic and really good fun. We did our own lunch in Amalfi but there is a set option if you want it. The trip back to Pompeii was spectacular, the view coming down the mountains across to Vesuvio were incredible. The tour of Pompeii was exceptional. Our guide was an archaeologist from the site and was extremely knowledgeable. We were taking around some of the best parts but like she said you just can’t do it all, you need days to go round it completely but I believe we did a good chunk and saw some of the best bits. Truly one of the reasons you come to Napoli.

Fantastic guide

Our guide Isabella was amazing! She knew so much, and painted a picture of life in Pompeii. The hike to the top of Vesuvius is steep so wear comfortable shoes. The view is worth it! Vincenzo our driver deserves a rave review for the expert driving down the mountain! Highly recommend this tour.

This is a great way of visiting Pompeii, Sorrento, and Positano on a tight schedule. Our guide, Alberto, was excellent. He provided information about the area and made sure fellow travelers rotated in the van so everyone had a chance to seat in the front seats and have a better view. Our guide in Pompeii, Luca, is an archaeologist and has worked on excavations. He made the tour entertaining and informative. The tour is well planned, but at the end, there is time to let people enjoy Pompeii on their own instead of rushing back to the van. The lunch stop in Sorento is short so make sure you plan your lunch before starting the tour. You will likely be dropped off at piazza Tasso (Corso Italia). You can do this tour on your own, but you will have to figure out all the transportation and parking, which is difficult. This tour has everything planned for you, and maybe if you ask the guide to slow it down a bit so you can spend more time during stops, they would accommodate that too.

It was a very hot day...

It was a very hot day when we visited these historical sites. Make sure to bring water and hats and fans when you visit during the summer months. Our tour guide’s name was Vincenzo. He was great! He was knowledgeable, friendly and funny. He made the ruins and their history relevant. He was also very considerate of the heat and always looking for shaded areas to give us the information about the ruins. He was a great guide and is why we had such a good experience there.
