What an experience! From...

What an experience! From the start the whole team was welcoming and very clear. They were especially accommodating with our kids, helping them down the waterfalls and even down the giant last one. It was tremendous fun and something the kids will be talking about for a long time! Food afterwards was some of the best we’ve had and a nice communal atmosphere.

Amazing be prepared for rain

Indie was a fantastic guide. She took the time to pause and show us as much wildlife and vegetation as possible. She was very knowledgeable. We enjoyed the experience. It rained hard the whole time. We were drenched even with top rated water proof boots and jackets. I recommend long pants that go over the top of your boots. The guide wear rubber goloshes and plastic ponchos over your rain jackets. This weather is seriously wet. Bring extra shoes for La Fortuna to alternate wet shoes, rubber goloshes would be best.

It started to rain and I was the only one that early morning...I was given a choice to do this at a later time to avoid the rain but I was leaving right after. It was invigorating!! It rained hard and they helped me transition from one jump to the other! Absolutely awesome!!

Yup, do it.

What an amazing day. Take the time seriously, 11 hours was pretty spot on. But here’s the thing, best 11 hours spent. Diego and Chris were our guides and both not only loved their jobs but their country and that shows in everything they do. They showed us all the little things like tree frogs and snakes to all the big things like La Fortuna Waterfall (absolutely stunning fyi) and Arenal Volcano with history taught along the way. The drivers were so sweet and kind as well. We had a freaking blast of a day and would highly recommend this tour to anyone that wants to see the main/most beautiful things around La Fortuna.

Great tour to start our relaxing Saturday

We thoroughly enjoyed this tour given we had an extremely full and active day prior. To enjoy the pace, the highly informative knowledge sharing from our guide, the sips and tasting of coffee and chocolate through every stage from tree to end product was enjoyable. Great for adults and maybe teens but this would probably be too long / not interesting to kids. We really appreciated the expertise of our guide, you can tell they are passionate about informing visitors about Costa Rica’s two primary exports.

Our guide, Able, was absolutely amazing! He had an incredible amount of knowledge about the area, plantations, and wildlife, and shared so many interesting insights with us throughout the trip. At times, we even noticed other guides following him, which says a lot about his expertise! I would definitely recommend Able to anyone visiting the area, and I would absolutely choose him again on my next trip.

It was a beautiful walk...

It was a beautiful walk and the bridges were fun. We went during rainy season and without a guide so we only saw one monkey, one frog, and some beautiful butterflies. Without a guide I wouldn't expect to see much, especially if you move quickly. We took our time and took everything in. Lots of rain so I am assuming the animals were seeking cover. I still think the views are worth it and you can take your time and enjoy it all.

A Highlight of Our Costa Rica Trip!

Our family of four (with two boys, ages 11 and 13) had an amazing time canyoning! Our guides—Jose, Kendall, Ronald, and Elder—were fantastic. They made the experience fun while always making sure everyone felt safe and confident. My boys absolutely loved it and were eager to go first on many of the rappels and jumps. The guides did a great job encouraging everyone while keeping the atmosphere fun and relaxed. The scenery was beautiful, the rappels were exciting, and the entire trip was well organized from start to finish.

A Wonderful Tour!

Our guide, Miller, was incredibly knowledgeable about not only the sloths and monkeys - which we saw plenty of! - but also the flora and fauna of the farm. Our walk along the wooded trail was paced well and very peaceful. We were shown frogs, plants, trees, insects, and of course the sloths and howler monkeys! There were great views of Arenal! What an enchanting property to visit! I'm grateful for the owners for running such a lovely tour and for allowing us to spend time in this beautiful space - thank you! Miller and his co-host, Derrick, were both fantastic, and the nice young woman who checked us into our tour was so kind and let us try sugar cane! Thank you all for everything! I was super scared...

I was super scared because it was my first time doing this, but our tour guides were incredibly patient, kind, and encouraging. They took their time with me and made me feel safe and comfortable every step of the way. Thanks to their support and positive attitude, I was able to do it and I’m so glad I did! Fun experience on ATVs!

The guides were great - very patient with all of us and especially helpful when I fell (twice! - both my fault) and needed to finish the ride on the back of our leader’s ATV. Communication before the ride in regards to where we would meet up was also very clear and helpful. Would recommend Original Arenal ATV to all looking for an adventure.

Beautiful and Unique Views!

I really enjoyed this experience, I would say if you are an experienced rider seeking thrills this may slightly let you down. It’s more geared towards all experience levels but the journey and views are incredible. You definitely get your money’s worth in the length of the journey and amount of sites.
