Really incredible tour! Beautiful farm, energetic, funny, and knowledgble tour guide, and a fun/interctive experience. We got to try freshly ground 100% chocolate, two types of freshly brewed coffee, see different grades of green coffee bean, process a stalk of sugar cane, see actual organic pineapples (they're so tiny!!), and (on a more sad, but still valuable note), learn more about the experience of working on a coffee farm and struggling under the current payment structure for farmers in Costa Rica. Highly recommend!

The Best

This tour was absolutely amazing! The waterfall hike was excellent and you were not rushed to get pictures or explore a little on your own. Carlos and Axel were so knowledgeable of the area and were able to show us so much wildlife we would have missed if we hiked on our own. The hike to the Arenal volcano overlook was a great experience to get more information on the area and the history. Carlos was happy to answer any questions and tried really hard to find us monkeys. He did spot 4 sloths and made sure everyone got a chance to get a good look at them! You end your day by relaxing in the springs and you have to check out the slide!

This was a very unique experience for our group! We really enjoyed the thrill and challenge of the experience. Be brave because it's worth it. We always felt safe, but one of the rappels was really high and some of us closed our eyes on the monkey drop. :) If you are an even moderately brave group, I recommend this excursion. Physical and mental strength are beneficial to enjoy it!

Incredible unique adventure

That was amazing! Alex and Arturo were fabulous guides, and of course they let no one drop. My daughters are 15 and 12, and are uber-athletes. This was a great challenge for them (and my husband and me). In Colorado we rock climb and rappel but this was very different. Rocks are dry in CO. They certainly were not here. They're legit in the waterfalls! You will get wet. Closed toed shoes are needed. They have rubber boots that my husband and eldest wore. You'll get puddles in them but they have better grip for this scenario. My trail runners slipped, but I did ok. Each waterfall is unique. The last one really is huge. And gorgeous! My youngest chose not to do the last one because of her being lightweight. Alex advised us that those of us who are..ahem... Not slight... have an easier time due to balance against the rope. The hike over to the big waterfall was steep and rustic but on the steep parts they have secure ropes to hold. After we finished the descents, we had a lovely lunch on site at the top of the canyon. We started driving at 9:30 and got back around 2:15 to the hotels. Our group had teens, young adults and parents. Some semblance of athleticism is needed, and a dose of bravery. It was awesome though! So glad we went.

What an amazing...

What an amazing experience!! I went with my husband and two boys aged 12 & 14, we all had a great time and would definitely do it again! Like our guides said, you will get 200% wet! Ziplining, rappelling, and jumping into waterfalls, there is no way to stay dry! And so beautiful to be inside the rainforest.

My family and I loved this tour. Using the ATVs was easy. Part of the train through the jungle was rugged which made for the perfect amount of adventure with a couple of stops along the way. I highly recommend it. The tour operatorss were friendly and helpful. It was first time experience for myself and my 13 yo son and we felt safe and had an amazing time.

Safety, experience and support!

Our experience was amazing! The place and the views are beautiful, the safety makes you feel super comfortable, the knowledge and patience of the guys is an extra that gives you the confident to enjoy. My daughter suffers motion sickness and gets a little anxious but wanted to face the fear and do it, and at the last one started feeling sick and throwing up and the guys were super patient with her, waited for us without rushing us and making her feel better right away! My daughters loved the experience and loved everything about it!
