A nice visit to the College and area.

Dermot was a lovely gentleman and very enthusiastic about the tour. He was kind and engaging with everyone, and gentle in his explanations when people wondered why the tour couldn’t be more or less in an area. Some of his explanations of the symbols in the Book of Kells differ from the commentary on the posters alongside the displayed pages, so visitors may want to double check what they learned. All in all, a lovely tour and glad we did it!

The Book of Kells and the long Library are an amazing thing to see and experience. Next we did a brief history walking tour ending at the Dublin Castle.
