The bus drivers and the street ticket sellers were extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Jordan, (who worked on the street by St. Patrick’s Cathedral) was particularly helpful. Buses were super easy to use and the Guinness tour was very very interesting! Highly recommend this tour.

Guinness Storehouse was a great experience. Enjoyed the self guided tour and tastings and final pint of Guinness at the top with a view of Dublin.
The Big Bus experience was not as positive. Could not connect with the activity provider locally. The bus itself had less available hop on hop off buses than the other hop on hop off companies which made for more wait times to travel around the city. Only a few of the buses had live tour operators. It was difficult to plan a hop off when the automated program guides were giving commentary that did not coordinate with the actual stops. The service did provide an app to live track buses on the route which was helpful.
Bus Confusion in Dublin
Bruce_T, Aug 2026
It is very confusing in Dublin because they have two Hop-on Hop-off bus lines and another Hop-on Hop-off service run by Dublin Bus (DB). We thought we had purchased a 24 hour green line Hop-on Hop-off ticket and when we boarded the bus, the Viator tickets did not work and we were told by the bus driver we had tickets for the Red DB bus. DB had sent us tickets but they were 48 hour tickets. By the time we got to Guinness for our included tour, they did not wok and showed they had already been used. After a little discussion with the Guinness agents, they found our tickets and we were let in. This led to a few very frustrating, time consuming, and embarrassing moments in a strange city with new tour friends started doing things together with.
Response from Host, Aug 2026
Hi Bruce_T, thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear the bus was confusing and that you encountered also some issues with the Guiness tickets. Rest assured we'll pass your review further to avoid further incidents in the future. We hope to have the chance to welcome you on board again and turn your experience around! A Must-Visit Dublin Experience
Nadia_P, Jul 2026
A must-do experience in Dublin! The Guinness Storehouse is beautifully presented, with interactive exhibits that take you through the history and brewing process of Ireland’s most famous stout. The highlights were the panoramic views from the Gravity Bar and enjoying a perfectly poured Guinness while overlooking the city. Even if you're not a big beer drinker, the experience is engaging, informative, and great fun. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Dublin! 🍺🇮🇪

A Great way to see the city easily
Julie_K, Jul 2026
I always love a hop on hop off bus and have had great experiences with Big Bus tours in other cities. Robbie was our driver and he was the best! He even sang a song g to us on the first part of our bus trip. He did live commentary which other drivers did not. The Guiness tour was also a fun experience. You didn’t really skip the line though. You just scanned in and were herded with the rest of the crowd.
Response from Host, Jul 2026
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback.
We're delighted to hear that you've enjoyed Big Bus Tours in other cities and that Robbie made such a fantastic impression on your Dublin tour. His live commentary, sense of humor, and willingness to go the extra mile, including singing for his passengers, truly create a memorable experience. We'll be sure to pass along your kind words to him. He'll be thrilled to hear them.
We're also pleased that you enjoyed the Guinness experience as part of your visit.
At the same time, we appreciate your comments regarding the priority entry process. We understand that expectations can vary, and we're sorry to hear that the experience did not feel as seamless as anticipated. Feedback like yours is extremely valuable and helps us better communicate what customers can expect from included attractions and experiences.
Thank you again for your thoughtful review and for recognizing Robbie's outstanding efforts. We hope to welcome you on board again soon for another memorable tour.

Wonderful time
Angela_C, May 2026
Had a wonderful time and learning so much about Guinness. It’s something that I didn’t drink. But learned to take a sip and let it sit on my pallet for 3-4 secs and swallow and breathe through your nose. And the beer was not bad. Was not a strong bitter test at all
Response from Host, May 2026

Did the guided tour — very cool experience. Allows you to take your time and soak in all of the information. Would recommend at least 2 hours to thoroughly experience the tour + time to enjoy your free Guinness in the gravity bar. The views are amazing — you’ll want to stay for a while.

Fun!
napoleon_c, May 2026
Wonderful time
Wish Guiness had more seats at the Gravity bar but it was very cool and we had fun. The shop is extensive and the experience is very immersive
And hop on bus is always a great introduction to any city
Tho they may seem like a stupid touristy think to do, we take them in every city we visit to get a preliminary "roof top" review of the city
Response from Host, May 2026
Thank you for sharing your experience! We’re delighted to hear you had such a wonderful time and enjoyed the immersive visit at Guinness, even with the busy Gravity Bar. It’s great to know that the hop‑on hop‑off tour continues to be your favorite way to get a rooftop overview of each city you visit. We love that it’s part of your travel tradition and are glad Big Bus Tours could help set the tone for exploring the city.

Big bus sucks
Karen_N, Apr 2026
The BigBusTour is limited and in one direction, only 9am-6pm so you can’t get back where you started if it’s after 5pm.
And you can’t split a group ticket once you begin travel. Really disappointing.
GUINNESS WAS GREAT FUN!
Guinness of Dublin.
Raymond_H, Apr 2026
The walking tour at Guinness was an educational experience of how a truly great brewer consistently produces a top shelf product. The tour was well worth the time and a not to be missed experience in Dublin. The pint at the conclusion sealed the deal.
A great way to see the Dublin
Kari_M, Apr 2026
The hop on/hop off bus tour is a great way to get the lay of the land when you first arrive. My only comment is that they advertise that the ticket is good for 24 hours, but the buses stop running at 6:00 pm, so that’s kind of misleading. I would recommend starting the tour in the evening to see the city, then you have the next day to go back to places you’d like to revisit.
Response from Host, Apr 2026
Hello Kari_M! We want to express our gratitude for your feedback. It's wonderful to hear that the tour was an ideal way to explore Dublin. We're sorry to learn about the confusion regarding ticket validity and operational hours. The ticket is valid for 24 hours, allowing you to enjoy the tour during the operational hours. So, if you begin at 1pm, you won't be limited to just a few hours; you can also join the tour the next day until 1pm. We look forward to welcoming you back soon. Best wishes, Vlad from Big Bus Tours.

It was difficult to get the full experience with the crowds. Would reschedule for a visit another time when school isn’t on recess and the storehouse isnt filled with families.

Delco_G, Apr 2026
The bus driver/tour guide, Bill was amazing. His knowledge of Ireland history along with his humor made for an enjoyable trip. He went out of his way to help our group.
Response from Host, Apr 2026
Hello Delco_G! We want to express our gratitude for your feedback. It’s wonderful to hear that your tour was flawless, and that Bill played a significant role in ensuring you had a fantastic experience, filled with great insights and a sense of humor.
