The first driver was fantastic. He gave us a personal commentary. The next two were dreadful with taped commentary. One stop was Dublin Castle which is closed for 2026 due to European Union visits and we weren’t told that.

Bus stop running at 5 or 6 depending on the day of the week and the season. 24 hour pass is a bit deceiving. I booked my pass in the afternoon, Hoped off for dinner, by the time we got out of dinner the buses had stopped running, had to uber back across town to the hotel. Got maybe 2 hours use out of a 24 hour pass.

I think we would have gotten a better view of Dublin if we had been sitting on the upper level but it was raining. The guide was very knowledgeable and even sang a couple of Irish tunes. It was fun day in spite of the rain. Fortunately we had visited Dublin a few years ago when it wasn’t raining.

The buses run very infrequently and are very hot and crowded. You couldn’t hear the commentary very well. The sights were hard too see due to overcrowding.

It takes you all over the city to the most visited sites. Instead of headphones with a recorded commentary there is an actual person describing the sites.

Absolutely fantastic. Drivers added to the story with their songs and their jokes. I am really sorry I did not make note of the names but we travelled three times and each was as good as the other. The route is excellent and and we used it to go back and do the Guinness tour. We had mobility issues otherwise we would have used it more frequently over the 48 hours ticket. Strongly recommended.

The Tour Guide was great, but when purchasing the ticket, it said it was valid for 24 hours. However, when I went to look for the ticket this morning to go back to a destination, the ticket disappeared. So, it is really not valid for 24 hours. It’s just valid for the date of purchase.

This was such a fun introduction to Dublin! My flight from the US landed at 8 am, and I decided to book this to help stay awake/adjust to the new time zone, while simultaneously having an educational and enjoyable way to explore the city. I was pretty exhausted from the travel, so I only hopped off/on once, but my hop off lasted several hours so altogether it wound up using up my whole morning and afternoon until it was time to check into my hostel.
I chose to hop off at St. Stephens Park, where I walked through the park, caught some buskers on Grafton Street, found a spot to get lunch, and visited the literary museum (I took a whole semester on Irish Literature in college, so I completely nerded out on this!). Hopping back on to learn more about the city was super easy, and the bus ride itself was smooth and comfortable.
Even though I didn't hop off again until the end, it gave me ideas of other things I wanted to see, and I wound up checking out a lot of the other sights throughout my week while walking around Dublin. This was a great way to spend almost a full day on my first day in Dublin and learn about the city, and all for a great price. Definitely recommend!

This was a great way to see the whole city and not keep paying for Uber's. You also could receive free tickets to the Dublin museum and buy one get one half off meals and 4 different pubs. Make sure you reserve tickets ahead of time at the attractions you want to see. They will not be available usually to get as a walk up. We loved it!

I purchased my ticket with friends as a way to pop around the city. The actual bus ride was ok. Our driver was very friendly and entertaining. I had a hard time seeing things because I ended up in an aisle seat and I am on the short side, so the first part of the ride I was a bit boring. I was able to move to a window seat once some other passengers departed and that made the ride more pleasant. In general, the experience was ok. It is a good way to explore the city for a fair price. We only took the bus from point A to point B, so we didn’t take full advantage of the service. Perhaps next time I’d try the tram or public transit, but, all-in-all it was a decent experience.

You can add the airport pick up and return drop off and even if the drop off isn't within your 24 or 48 hours, it is still usable! Just make sure you take a screen shot of your ticket to show the driver when you want the airport return.
We got to see most of Dublin and really enjoyed the commentary! Johnny Mack was hilarious!

Start early in the day to make the most of your time in Dublin. First, stay on the bus for the entirety of the tour so that you can determine which sites will be of most interest to you. Once you have an overview of Dublin, hop back on the bus. Hop off when the bus stops at one of the sites you want to visit.
