The tour he gave us around town and the restaurant he took us to were amazing and then the tour of the brewery was equally amazing. Michal is a wonderful tour guide. He is local to the area and his family has been there for generations. We did this trip and a Prague walking tour with him on a different day. I highly recommend him. Michal picked us up at our hotel in a spotless beautiful van that was very comfortable. My husband who is very tall was very happy, he had plenty of room. Water was provided and lunch at a local Pilson restaurant was included. We had a walking tour in Pilsen which was very interesting followed by a delicious lunch and the brewery tour which was really fun.

Pilsner Urquell and Castle Tour - A Must Do!

We were picked up on time in front of our apartment by Peter. From the start he was super friendly, deeply knowledgeable about all 3 parts of the tour (the castle, the brewery, the city of Pilsen). The castle tour was in Czech (provided by castle staff) though we paid extra for the English audio (unsure if its offered in English, we were the only 2 English speakers/non Czech speakers). After the castle we headed off to the Pilsner Urquell brewery. That was an excellent tour (in English by brewery staff) showing the history and evolution of the brewery. The tour finished in the "caves" where the barrels used to lager (some still do) and we were provided a sample of the unfiltered beer. We had lunch in town and wrapped up with a short walking tour of Pilsen provided by Peter. Overall this was a great experience and we highly recommend. Its a long day but worth every penny....or koruna.

Great Way to Transfer and Tour, Great Guide!

We needed a transfer from Prague to Regensburg to meet our river cruise. Michal is very personable, knowledgeable and fun to talk to. He picked us up in a nice new van and 6 of us travelled comfortably to our first stop. He gave us a very informative tour of Plzn and then dropped us off for a tour of a brewery. Then he waited for us and picked us up and took us to lunch. Then we finished the drive to our ship where he pulled up right next to the gangway and delivered us an all our luggage. He gave us some great ideas along the way and we never stopped talking the entire trip. We will be returning to Prague and will be looking him Up for more tours. Highly recommend if you want that personal touch for your small group.
