Montserrat Tour with pickup at the hotel
We had a great time! Our driver Garspar contacted us the night before to let us know what time he would collect us from the hotel. He kept in communication in the morning and introduced everyone that was on our tour. We had a great drive to Montserrat with Gaspar giving interesting facts of the area! Montserrat was beautiful and worth the visit. Our drive back was great.

10/10 Experience! Amazing locations and guides!
This was such a great first experience booking with Viator and touring parts of Spain! I’d say there was enough time for the guided history portion and free time given for each location. We were given a meeting time/location to return so we would remain on schedule. There were so many ways to spend time at each location, I was never bored at any time. Monserrat - This tour was planned very well, and I am happy we were able to leave at a reasonable time from Barcelona to arrive at Monserrat. So many different groups were there, but we did not have any traffic entering and hardly any leaving. Girona - Arrived during The Fires de Sant Narcís, so the city was bustling, but we were still able to maneuver easily for the guided tour and even sit and eat. There is a lot of history behind this city, so I’m glad Chris talked about it and pointed out key aspects of it! Bosco also supplied us with great intros as we arrived in each city, warming us up to a great experience! Costa Brava - Good weather for October! We were given the option for total free time or guided tour up and free time after. There was a good deal of incline walking when heading up to the high view point. Well worth the views, history, shops, and time. Was able to squeeze in a quick tapas, but definitely had to run back to the meeting point haha. Overall this day trip was well worth the time and money. Makes me want to return and spend more leisure time in the museums, and observing the views. I truly recommend this tour with Chris, Bosco, and driver Marco!! Things went so smoothly and I never felt uneasy, upset, or worried. Grateful for their easy-on-the-ear voices, and the very smooth driving especially on winding roads and mountains.

Worthwhile two hours in Andorra
The excursion was well planned and the guide, Carlos, and driver, Noel, were great. Interesting factoids were shared along the way. Mont-Louis was not very interesting and most shops are closed on a Monday, but there was good local cheese. Andorra was interesting but surprisingly not a quaint little place like I expected. Big American brands line the streets. Still, I did manage to find unique goods, including gorgeous and inexpensive jewelry, in three shops. This was one of only two tours that offer two hours in Andorra, and more would be ideal for optimal exploring. Try the mini-fondue at restaurants; it is served with hearty rustic bread. I also stopped by a local grocer and picked up delicious Andorran honey and sea salt potato chips.

Go to the mountains
If you want more than a drive by visit but less than a full day hiking, this bus tour is great. Enough time to take funicular, hike down mountain If you want and visit b basilica. Marc is an engaged and interesting guide who makes sure the trip runs smoothly. Many different ways to visit and for the 40+ in my group, everyone seemed more than satisfied. Montserrat is about an hour from Barcelona and an amazing place to visit.

While Barcelona has a ton to see and do within its city limits, there's plenty to do within day-tripping distance of the Catalan city. The Montserrat range is among the most popular Barcelona day trips, owing to its beautiful rock formations and historic basilica. Another popular option is the Costa Brava, known for its compact fishing villages and sea views. Guided day tours from Barcelona frequently combine Costa Brava time with a visit to nearby Girona, a medieval settlement with a gorgeous cathedral and cobblestoned streets.
