Not worth the poor service

The vendor does not communicate well. Said driver would contact me after landing FCO. I informed them we had landed and heard nothing. They never designated a meeting spot - FCO has two exits at terminal 1 - we eventually found driver ourselves. Taxi is about one third the price - fixed currently at 55 Euros and easier, less costly.

Regarding the taxis, that's true. But we're not taxis. Our services are a different type, focused on Mercedes vehicles with a dedicated driver and an operations center that monitors your flight 24/7, with no waiting lines. They ask for Flight Number, etc. but when ithe flight was late and clearing entry took 2 hours they said they would not wait and would require extra charges and took no responsibility to know what was going on at the airport.

Dear Customer, what you have stated does not correspond to what was previously communicated to you in our chat. The service you booked was for a daytime transfer (from 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM). As specified in our terms, services provided from 10:00 PM onwards are considered nighttime transfers and involve an additional charge, as do services on public holidays. Your flight was originally scheduled to arrive at 10:25 AM, but it was later changed, and you informed us that the new arrival time would be 10:45 PM. We confirmed our availability for the updated schedule; however, we also informed you that, as this would be a nighttime service, an extra fee would apply. Additionally, the waiting time included in the service is 60 minutes from the moment the flight lands. In your case, the waiting time exceeded 2 hours, which resulted in an additional charge for the extended waiting period. This delay was not due to our organization. We would also like to point out that the driver had another service scheduled with other clients. We are sorry that you feel dissatisfied, but we would like to assure you that we always operate in accordance with the stated terms and with the utmost care for our customers. I booked a Private Transfer from Fiumicino Airport to Rome Center through Viator. After landing, I informed the driver I was going through customs, which took a long time, followed by a delay due to a misplaced bag. The driver never mentioned any waiting time limit or that he would be leaving. When we finally exited, he was gone. Leaving us stranded at the airport despite having paid for a private transfer. Company first told me I would receive a refund but later refused. This was very disappointing since I acted in good faith, kept the driver updated, and never received the service I paid for. Poor communication and lack of accountability. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend their service.

We had an easy seamless experience. Our flight arrived in Rome at 8:00 AM but we were not scheduled to be picked up at the airport until 10:00 AM. Our driver was there and ready to transfer us to our hotel at 8:30 AM. We didn't even have to call to ask to be picked up early. He was very professional, friendly, and efficient. Do Not Book!!!!

In advance, he told me he will only be at the airport one hour. I had no problem since I assumed the hour would start at a reasonable time, maybe after our plane arrived??????? He apparently arrived at 18:35, our plane landed at 18:47, we still had to taxi to the gate, walk to baggage claim, and it was a long wait for our luggage. He left at 19:35, we had not even gotten our luggage yet. I asked for a 20:00 pickup exactly for this reason. I have screenshots to document everything and will be asking Viator to reverse the charges.
