Excellent Rock n Roll tour of London with a Beatles expert

William_D, May 2026
Overall a great experience. Visited with my 75+ year old father and loved everything about the Beatles and the Stones, with Abbey Road being a highlight, and the story of Brian Epstein placed in proper context being another wonderful feature. The tour was a little longer than expected. So we have to leave early in order to make a appointment. But the operator, Clyde was very accommodated. Make sure we visited the great studio for some albums recorded. The punk rock areas of Chelsea, and the interesting story of Hendrix’s death, were also really great. Only because I’m a UK music aficionado, I would have liked some more stories about 70s Progressive Rock, New Wave, Post Rock (eg Radiohead), Ska/Reggae, but I understand there’s only so much time. Overall Clive was very engaging as an operator. Any music lover would be well served to take this tour.

Awesome tour!

Nancy_M, Apr 2026
The tour was wonderful! Clive is so knowledgeable and he made the whole experience fun! We did so much more than I imagined with lots of time to take pictures. And he even took our phones at Abbey Road so we all got individual pics of us crossing the famous crosswalk. Thank you, Clive and Ben too for maneuvering the bus so well!

Rock history tour

Jean_M, Apr 2026
You primarily get history and see bars musicians hung out just quickly passing by places. I was hoping for more of a walking tour of bars they played in but we did get out for Abby Road and Beatles mementos shops. Tour operator was friendly and knowledgeable.

London rock history tour

Steve_t, Apr 2026
Tour required some bus hop on hop off. Minimal walking is needed. Well informed host with a well designed and detailed agenda about London’s 60-80’s rock history. Including references to Beatles, Stones, Hendrix, and punk music and fashion.

Ian is our Rockstar!

Cara_S, Apr 2026
The Rock’n’Roll Tour with Ian was absolutely unforgettable! From start to finish, we enjoyed every second of it. What really made the experience special was Ian himself – his open, humorous, and passionate personality turned the tour into something truly unique. You can immediately tell how much he loves what he does, and his stories, knowledge, and energy completely drew us in. The mix of fascinating insights, entertaining anecdotes, and the overall great atmosphere was just perfect. It wasn’t just a tour, it was an experience we’ll remember for a long time. Highly recommended!

Enthusiastic Tour guide

Sumer_S, Apr 2026
our tour guide was great and enthusiastic about the stories of music. Other travelers need to be aware if there is protests or marches happening as it can cause problems with the tour.

Legends of rock n roll

Teresa_B, Apr 2026
Lucky our guide was extremely knowledgeable and had wonderful stories to tell nd we saw way more than expected

Great tour for rock and roll fans

Jill_C, Apr 2026
From the moment we started Ian shared a wealth of information, anecdotes and trivia with us, pointing out landmarks around London and passing out pictures of the various artists taken at the sites we were passing. The tour included a few stops where we got off the bus to stretch our legs and explore or take photos. We had a great driver, as well, and a very comfortable bus. Great tour for rock and roll fans!

Fun facts on Brit Rockers

Steve_B, Apr 2026
It’s a great tour if you’re interested in London rock history. If rock music doesn’t mean that much to you, you’ll probably be bored. Clive was our guide. Very knowledgeable and very personable.

Fun rock tour !!!

Very informative tour we made lots of stops and were told many different stories along the way music was played on the bus. The tour guide and bus driver were very helpful and friendly.

Poor communications cause avoidable confusion.

John_S, Mar 2026
Bus crew was very indifferent to passenger's comfort or convenience. Failure to properly communicate pickup location during a period of inclement weather was absolutely avoidable.

Birthday Treat

Shelene_S, Mar 2026
I treated my husband to this trip for his birthday. He is an ardent Beatles fan and throughly enjoyed the experience. Thank you to Ian and Gok for a great afternoon

Fabulous day with amazing host

Robert_W, Mar 2026
It was fantastic Ian “Lucky” was amazing, his knowledge of music incredible. The tour was so full of rock and roll highlights, but also many many “touristy” highlights. We would recommend it to anyone travelling as their first option.

Really fun ride around rock London

David_W, Mar 2026
Ian is knowledgeable about rock and about London’s places and characters. A great way to see the city and hear tales.

A banger of a rock legends tour

Matt_W, Mar 2026
Ian was a super chill and groovy tour guide. He had great humor and wanted to make sure we saw the sights and hit the key stops. Abbey Road studio was the highlight. Awesome tour

Cana_N, Mar 2026
One might need some in-depth knowledge of British rock & roll history as obscure facts were shared. Would have been nice to actually walk through the Troubadour pub and learn some of its history. Nice bus ride through various london districts. Would not recommend for anyone with limited Rock & Roll background.

Clive was very knowledgeable. We saw a lot of sites--had to rush thru the Abbey road part due to timing.

Clive and Driver Sean are fantastic!

Burcu_I, Dec 2025
This was a great tour operated nicely. Our tour guide was also very helpful. Couple things that would be helpful if you are exploring it, 1- It may take longer than 3 hours that was listed at the booking that i got. So make sure you are a bit flexible with your timing, this is due to traffic/road closures etc. I needed to leave the tour at the end of 3.5hours and they still had at least 30 more mins to discover. 2- this is very Beatles heavy tour. It's indeed very nice one but if you are looking for more a heavy metal or general brit rock/metal culture, be aware of that. All and all, it was not what i was expecting exactly but i def recommend the tour. Great activity for a cold rainy day as well ;)

A Must For Beatles Fans

Jennifer_A, Dec 2025
Clive was so knowledgeable and made the tour a lot of fun! George our bus driver deserves an award for navigating the congested streets and road closures. Abbey Road was a highlight. This tour is a must for every music lover.

Great Rock Tour

Noel_G, Nov 2025
Ian was an amazing tour guide with behind the scenes knowledge from his personal experiences with some of London’s Rock’N’Roll royalty. A truly wonderful experience seeing some of London’s Rock history. Highly recommended!

Really fun tour!

Britt_H, Nov 2025
Our guide, Steve was great! Very knowledgable about rock and roll history and London history in general! Saw some very cool places and learned a lot! I'd definitely recommend this tour! And our bus driver was amazing! It was all great!

Brisitsh rock!!

rorovannie, Nov 2025
Clive has so much British rock knowledge. He is such a good story teller. You can tell he loves music and has fun sharing its history with tour attendees. So accommodating. George did a great job driving us through London safely.

Hmmmm

Julie_B, Nov 2025
I felt like the guy was just winging it through the tour… then he went into the Abby Road store and bought presents for his family… just weird…

A MUST for music fans!!

Jana_B, Oct 2025
This tour was incredible!! Frank is SO knowledgeable, it’s insane! He answers the questions you didn’t even think to ask. And a vast majority of the sites to see are things that he has personally experienced through the years. Which made it much more impactful than just “spitting out” facts. I loved this so much, I’m so glad I booked it for my first time being in England 🇬🇧 Pietro, our driver, was also very impressive.. those streets were tight, especially around Abbey Road but he maneuvered without any issue. 10/10.

Julie_W, Oct 2025
Clive (and driver Henry!) were amazing! Such an informative and easy tour. Clive was incredibly engaging and really appreciate all the effort they put into letting us get our photos at the crossing of Abbey Road. I’d honestly do the tour again!

Fantastic tour!

Richard was amazing. He knew his stuff and threw in some great humor. He played photographer on dangerous roads and included some Hollywood facts along with all the UK music. Really enjoyed the whole experience! Thank you Richard. Our driver manipulated some tight crazy roads with ease. Felt safe and educated throughout the whole tour.
