This was a phenomenal experience! The service was fantastic, the location is very cozy, the wines were superb and the charcuterie delicious. Cannot recommend this enough.

Sophia presented a tasting through the various wine regions of Greece. Six Greek wines (1 bubbles, 2 whites and 3 reds) with a full description of each, water, and a plentiful charcuterie board of meats, cheeses, bread sticks and olives. Well worth the price! We enjoyed the amazing Sophia and her daughter, Melina, so much we bought 4 bottles and went back the next afternoon for another visit. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Sofia, our host, was very knowledgeable about all the greek regions and the different grapes. The wines were delicious and the charcuterie plate provided was excellent. We stayed for extra glasses because we loved it so much.

Such a beautiful place with an amazing selection! The owner was so kind and even let me try sparkling and natural wines in addition to the white and red. I definitely need to come back with my husband because it’s so romantic and charming!

Elena the owner was so knowledge on each Greek wine she served us. She went as far as to show a map were the grapes were grown and how they differ. The, taste, the color, and the grape used from the regions etc. we tasted 6 with each came new clean glass. Highly Recommend. Cute area of Plake but tucked. away. Very Good wine.

The reviews say it all! I can’t say enough about how wonderful this wine tasting was! We were running late from another tour and a little bit lost, but Sophia made it all right for us and we had a delicious charcuterie board and tasted Greek wines around the map, from Assyrtiko to Maaloisia grapes, it was a wonderful education about the special wines of Greece. This was the highlight of our trip!

Discovering Greece through Wine and Cheese at Acropolis Private Wine Tasting

I had a wonderful time at the Acropolis Private Wine Tasting @ Finewine store with my friends. We were a group of six and our host was Sophia, who was very knowledgeable and friendly. She showed us a great map of Greece and explained the history and characteristics of the wine regions and the cheeses that we paired with the wines. We tried six different wines: three whites, one rosé, and two reds. They were all delicious and unique, and Sophia gave us some tips on how to taste and appreciate them. We learned a lot about Greek wines and culture, and had a lot of fun. The wine store was cozy and inviting, and the location was very convenient. The service was excellent and the price was reasonable. I highly recommend this wine tasting experience to anyone who loves wine and wants to discover more about Greece.

First… Greek wine is fantastic! We had a great time and learned about the different regions they grow wine. We enjoyed white to red and a dessert wine. Nine wines, we asked for an extra dessert wine. The charcuterie board was great with all the wines. Very friendly and helpful staff. I highly recommend this tour!!

Het was een geweldige ervaring! Bij aankomst gezegd dat ik geen rode wijn drinker ben. Heeft de vrouw de proeverij aangepast naar 1 rode wijn ipv 2. Bij elke wijn een uitgebreide uitleg gekregen en werd er op een kaart aangewezen vanwaar de wijn afkomstig is. Het was fantastisch en wij komen zeker terug!
