It was an excellent tour...
It was an excellent tour but I was little disappointed the guide did not also come into St. Peter's Basilica with us.

Good tour
St Peter’s Basilica is beautiful and our guide had many interesting facts about the history of the popes and the basilica. I wish we didn’t spend quite so much time on just one fresco, as it was too much detail. Would have preferred more of an overview of the whole church and walking around it. I learned a lot though and the guide, Arturo, was friendly and engaging and very knowledgeable.

Vatican Museum St Peter’s Basilica and Sistine Chapel
Our guide Norman was very patient and informative with his knowledge of Vatican Museum and Sistine Chapel & St Peter’s Basilica. Leonardo Da Vinci was amazing artist and sculptor. Respect. Lots of walking however expected. Would highly recommend 😄

We had a great experience...
We had a great experience with this tour at the Vatican. It included the Vatican museum, Sistine Chapel and St. Peter’s Basilica. The meeting point was easy to find, there was lots of staff there and we knew exactly where to wait for the tour to begin. Our guide MairaGiovanna was lovely, knowledgeable and so interesting to listen to. It also included the passage through to the Basilica. Would highly recommend !

Vatican City
St. Peter's Basilica on a sunny day, Rome
  • Be prepared for security lines similar to those at airports, including metal detectors, bag scanners, and potentially long waits.

  • This is one of the most popular attractions in all of Italy, so crowds are nearly inevitable.

  • The Basilica of St. Peter has a strict dress code—no bare shoulders, midriffs, or knees—and you won't be allowed in unless you adhere to it.

  • A skip-the-line tour of the Vatican Museums that includes St. Peter's enables you to bypass the basilica's long entry lines; you still have to go through the security check.

  • Climbing the dome atop the Basilica to take in the fantastic views over St. Peter's Square, requires a ticket.
