An excellent day with...
An excellent day with Jimmy. He arrived at our hotel and whisked us away in a clean and comfortable vehicle. He accompanied us throughout (the actual DMZ visit you have to transfer to a coach) and sorted out all the ticketing. Afterwards he took us to the British war memorial and the suspension bridge. We had an evening event back in Seoul afterwards and Jimmy ensured that we were back at our hotel in plenty of time. I’d highly recommend a private tour with Jimmy.

Amazing Korean Penninsula History
Incredible tour of DMZ. The sights were very poignant, but Alex was an incredible guide. Full of anecdotes, history, and humour. He was able to use his national service and family history to really bring the sites to life. The exclusive access to the JSA Museum was also worthwhile. Highly recommended.

Don’t expect to see much...
Don’t expect to see much of the military on either side. Most are far from view & taking photos are prohibited. However, the commentary & history of the DMZ is quite interesting if that’s your thing. Our guide Hazel was awesome & is very knowledgeable.

  • The area is a must-see for history buffs but you can only visit accompanied by a tour guide; no independent visits are permitted.

  • Choose a full- or half-day DMZ tour, lasting between 6 and 10 hours.

  • Don't forget your passport, as you'll need it for a security check.

  • Dress conservatively and avoid wearing any "commercial" military clothing.
