Top Positano Day Trips

This is a great way to see the Amalfi coast! This special excursion stops in Amalfi and the emerald grove (which was so cool). The ocean is too murky to snorkel in April but we will still loved the opportunity to swim! Francesco was the perfect Italian sea captain for our day on the sea!

Great location and a 2 min walk from our hotel in Positano. Fausto was our captain for the day and we had an excellent time. Great communication from the company and no issues at all. We went to Capri which was excellent. Take the funicular to the main town. Recommend the chair lift in Anacapri (cab to get there) and gardens of Augustus. We were hopeful to go into the Blue Grotto but the tide was high and it was closed for the day. About an hour each way in the boat to Carpri, the water was a little choppy (October weather) but it is not always like that. Take note if you are not too comfortable with sea sickness. We finished off with a glass of prosecco/limoncello spritz with the boat anchored. I would definitely Positano Boats and Fausto.

Joseph (Giuseppe) was an awesome captain and Sara was a wonderful first mate!! They provided a spectacular boat tour from Sorrento to the Isle of Capri. It exceeded our expectations and was definitely a highlight of our trip to Italy! We highly recommend! It is a must do!!

Georgia and Salvatore were excellent guides. They he swim stops were divine! I recommend you plan your travel in Capri out ahead of time, as you only have 3 hours, the bus and cable car are good ways to travel if you don’t want to walk up the hill in Capri.

What an incredible experience! Fabio was our captain and did a fantastic job of showing us his beautiful home and letting us swim and snorkel as we wished. The amenities on this beautiful boat were superb and all we had to bring were clothes for the day. I highly recommend this experience and Fabio as a captain. My kids loved every minute!

A bit of a chaotic start, and long wait to get started, but once on the boat the skipper and his mate were such fun, very relaxed and generous with the drinks. Very much wanted us to enjoy ourselves. Stopped twice for a swim which was unexpected, with Marcello showing great skill gliding the boat into several caves for our enjoyment. Highly recommended trip, easily the highlight of our Sorrento trip. Loved it!!

Our day on the water with Luca and Yana was absolutely unforgettable. From the moment we stepped on board, they made us feel like VIP guests. The boat was pristine, comfortable, and perfectly set up for a full day of exploring the stunning coastline. We cruised past all the famous spots — the Faraglioni rocks, the Blue Grotto, Marina Piccola, and hidden coves around Capri — each one more breathtaking than the last. Luca’s skill at navigating made us feel completely safe, even in busier areas, and Yana’s warm hospitality made the experience extra special. She shared local stories, offered great photo tips, and made sure we always had drinks and snacks. The highlight was swimming in crystal-clear waters away from the crowds — it felt like we had our own private paradise. They also took us to charming Sorrento viewpoints and gave us plenty of time to explore ashore without feeling rushed. If you’re in the Amalfi Coast area, this is the boat tour to book. Luca and Yana are the dream team — professional, friendly, and genuinely passionate about making your day perfect. We’ll be recommending them to all our friends!

Samuel was an excellent guide, accommodating and flexible. One suggestion, to let guests know that once he passes Capri you can't go back to see the town instead of seeing the blue grotto if that is too busy, like what happened to us so we didn't get to see either. However, it was nice seeing the shoreline and having several chances to swim in the sea.
