Bruny Island with Davo, a perfect day in Tassie!

This was a great tour guided expertly by Davo. His knowledge, sense of humour and stories related the places and time was a real joy to listen to. Crossing the channel to Bruny Island was an opportunity to relax and have a 360 degrees of the beauty of the place. We did not succed in spotting white kangaroos this time, but searching for them was equally exciting. It seems these fellows were on leave that day. The oyster farm visit was fascinating, for those of us that like oysters the taste cannot be compared with the one purchased in Sydney, if you try these oysters, you are setting the bar so high that the Bruny Island oysters become a legend, like a dream. Thanks Davo for making this tour so great and unforgettable.

Brilliant Day Trip

Brodie was a brilliant guide, he gave just enough informative commentary which was mixed with a good sense of humour. He also gave very clear instructions on where to go at each location and when to return. He also added a 'surprise' additional stop on our return. Port Arthur is a fascinating place that's worth the long drive. As others have commented, this isn't strictly a fully guided trip as the guide doesn't take you around Port Arthur but I dont think this would be tenable to keep a large group together for hours around such a massive site.

DO IT! Great Tour + Guide!

The tour: this tour is incredible! You definitely get great value for money. The Russell Falls part is stunning and as someone with bad netball knees, very doable (do the tall tree walk forest, down to the falls, finishing at the 'start') - the forest and falls are stunning! The sanctuary is really cool and your ticket (included) goes directly to funding their valuable work - the Tassie Devils are adorable! Richmond is stunning, interesting history, incredible food and drink of all kinds, beautiful peaceful walks that are easy, and great vibes all round! Mt Wellington is great - you're not walking up or down, you're driven to the top to look around from there with lots of support etc on the board walks - stunning view of Hobart and beyond, the ocean, rivers, bush. Toilets there too- what a view haha. Bonus too, our tour guide showed us more of Hobart - Battery Point and Salamanca, teaching us about those buildings too during drop off, which was awesome! The tour guide: Jarrod was a wonderful guide. Jarrod was very knowledgeable, patient, charismatic, funny, full of ideas and suggestions, easily answered our questions, and gave all sorts of interesting tid bits of information about everything around us (and its history) - the variety was impressive and super appreciated, too. Jarrod was also accommodating, attentive, and great with communicating times and distances, etc. I highly recommend not only this tour but also Jarrod specifically as the tour guide :) Thank you very much for a great day! This was a great tour....

This was a great tour. Our driver Dave was funny, informative and made this tour enjoyable. Takes an hour to get up the mountain. You have 30 mins up there and the view is spectacular. We were lucky enough to have a clear view of Hobart and then the snow clouds came over and it bucketed with snow. Such a cool experience. It’s a must do when in Hobart.

Fun, Exciting, Educational

A fun, exciting and educational day. They go out of the way for their customers. Our guide and bus driver, Zoe did a great job. She was enthusiastic, attentive to our needs, informative, and funny. She stopped to show us special things like white wallabies by the side of the road and told us stories and history of the region. On the boat, Captain Mick had great jokes, knew his stuff and, with Zoe's help did a terrific job navigating us through the turbulent waters, giving us an exciting and beautiful 3-hour tour. Lunch was delicious fish and chips. Many thanks to Zoe, Mick and the rest of the team for a great time!

Great value and such a wonderful experience! 🥰 We honestly couldn’t fault a thing and enjoyed our experience so much! Just wanted to give a special thank you to the staff as well. We were actually running about 5 minutes late due to unexpected road closure, but the staff were so helpful. They called to check on us and, when we arrived at the office, checked us in really quickly, which saved us so much time with all the admin. Really appreciated their kindness and understanding! ❤️

The cruise was fabulous, long enough and also very I formative . The lunch was very good and well worth it . Definitely a must in Hobart. We did the lunch cruise visiting g both nietn and south. I imagine that the individual north and with trips would be just as good . However we liked having lunch at the same time.

Bountiful Bruny.

This Bruny Island tour was ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS!!!!! All other tour groups we saw on the day got off their bus and walked in unguided and were left to themselves. Our tour guide took us in and introduced the staff and we got private tastings and experiences. We ate delicious local oysters and cheeses on the beach, climbed the lighthouse, had lunch at the pub, then it was off for chocolate and fudge tastings and then more cheese. Having a guide who has lived on the island for forty years meant we got to see and learn about things that other tours drove straight past. It couldn't have been a better day!

Fun on Bruny!

Dave was an excellent guide whom made the trip funny and informative. We got to see most of the island and all the cool little stores! My wife and I had an amazing time and we recommend this trip to everyone! Great food Dave and the team. We enjoyed everything but the three standouts were the cheese tasting, lunch and The Neck lockout. But we very munched enjoyed Dave’s commentary and the garden tour with chocolate tasting. Must-do tour for the first time visitor in Tasmania

It was probably our best decision to take this tour during our recent visit to Tasmania. This tour covers a lot of important tourist spots in Tasmania. Specially for the first timer who have only limited time. Matt our guide was great and patient. He gave us plenty of information during the tour so we know a little bit of history of the places we visited. We felt also that we had a good size of tour group of less than 10 people. We think that the allocated time was perfect for each place so we could have our own time to explore the places on our own. We definitely recommend this tour to everyone visiting Tasmania for the first time.
