Leisurely trip
Great, leisurely-paced trip to the park. All of the stops were timed well and our guide Brodie was great.

Fresh air, beautiful scenery, and so much to learn!
Our guide was Phil and he was so lovely. We came at a very slow season in winter, so our group was just my husband and I, plus a solo traveler. Despite the small group, Phil still put a dedicated effort into our tour of the Salmon Ponds, the tall trees walk, and the waterfalls hike. Throughout the drive, he told history of Tasmania, the agriculture, the local area, etc. Our favorite though was how Phil peppered in little anecdotes of growing up in these places and fun memories he had here. It added so much life to the tour. We stopped for morning tea and a pancake, viewed the ponds, saw a platypus in the river! When we stopped in New Norfolk we had a few minutes to buy lunch for later in the day and there were many choices. The forest was beautiful. We saw a variety of fungi and some very tall trees, plus stunning waterfalls. The hikes are quite pleasant and easy, though consider boots due to mud. I would highly recommend this tour for the beautiful nature but also the care of the company to make a pleasant day trip experience!
