Wonderful day tour
We had an absolutely lovely time with Jodi! Another tour had fallen through and we booked last minute; very glad we did. She was knowledgeable, funny, and a delightful guide! Tour itself was also a great bite sized roundup of the wonders of Bruny, really packed a ton in for a day and had us home in time for dinner. Highly recommend!

Just do it
Just do it. The best value. You get a quality and passionate guide (thanks Allen), taste and take home quality products, and the lunch is delicious. There is so much to see but yu don’t feel rushed at all and all the information is well delivered and interesting and it’s a great feeling supporting the local producers and also conservation initiatives. Thanks to the whole team

The bus to take to Mt Wellington!
So affordable for a great bus tour up to the mountain! Tony was the driver and have a fun commentary (and lots of puns). Wifi on the bus. It’s best to get a left hand side seat for the mountain side view when driving up. I took advantage of the hop on/off option and went off at the Fern Tree stop and did the Silver Falls walk. I had an 11am start and it was my last day in Hobart but next time I will do this tour again and see more of the mountain. The bus drivers communicated through radio so they knew I was to be picked up by the next bus on the way down and it was reassuring. It’s a really narrow shared busy road so better to take the bus if you don’t feel comfortable driving.

Seals, albatrosses, and sea cliffs
What an amazing tour! We went around Bruny Island in a speed boat and saw seals and albatrosses. Our tour guide Ryan was very knowledgeable and funny. We had an additional guide just on the boat who was also informative and hilarious. A tasty lunch was included. I highly recommend this tour.

Excellent tour - don't miss out
This was the best tour experience we have ever had. Don't be afraid of the long day. Our tour guide Sam was very skilled at making strategic stops along the way to and from Cradle Mountain National Park so the drive did not feel too long. His music playlist was wonderful and I wish I had asked him for a copy. The trip is so well planned you never feel rushed or 'stuck'. It was perfect. Once you arrive at Cradle Mountain you have lots of options of hiking, strolling or hanging out at the lodge. You could also ride the park shuttle bus to each stop and get out to explore each area. We chose to walk around the lake, about a 3 mile trip. It was so beautiful and very manageable for two 70+ year olds. Don't miss out on this wonderful experience. On the way home we stopped for dinner at a local restaurant. Sam called our orders in ahead so dinner was ready when we arrived. This was so helpful in keeping the drive back to Hobart on schedule. We got back at 9-9:30 pm. Yes it is a long day but you won't regret taking this tour. It is our favorite memory of our time on Tasmania.

We had an amazing...
We had an amazing full-day tour to Bruny Island today! Everything was well-paced and not rushed, which made the whole experience really relaxing and enjoyable.
We got to enjoy fresh, delicious oysters, taste some great local beer, and even saw a wild white wallaby — such a special moment! It truly felt like a perfect mix of nature, food, and unique experiences.
Our guide was incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure everyone was comfortable and well taken care of throughout the day.
Highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a fun and memorable day!

Great day out, would recommend this tour
Our guide, Brodie, was extremely knowledgeable and informative, gave plenty of information about all the places we stopped at. Gave clear instructions about where we were going and how long we’d have in each place, timings were accurate, coach was comfortable

A once in a lifetime experience
From the moment you arrive, this place feels truly magical. The staff are warm, passionate, and incredibly knowledgeable, making you feel like a welcome guest rather than just a visitor. What sets this experience apart is the freedom to explore at your own pace—wandering through the grounds and forming genuine connections with the animals along the way. The diversity of wildlife is astonishing, and the on-site animal hospital, open for guests to observe, offers a rare behind-the-scenes look at conservation in action. Seeing a live Tasmanian devil up close was unforgettable, but the absolute highlight was hand-feeding the kangaroos—gentle, curious, and completely enchanting. This isn’t just a visit; it’s an immersive, once-in-a-lifetime experience that will stay with you long after you leave. A must-see for anyone who truly loves animals.

Great Guide/Driver
This was a fantastic full day tour, Jarrod the guide was very knowledgeable. However, I would recommend booking direct with iwandertassie.com as my sister is disabled and we weren't able use her companion card and concession card when booking with viator. I didn't realise viator is only a booking service :(

Excellent Tour
This trip was wonderful! Our guide Jimmy, was informative and entertaining with lots of history and fun stories about the communities we traveled through. We thoroughly enjoyed every stop, especially going to the top of Bruny Island Lighthouse. Lunch was delicious with some amazing choices. Don't hesitate to book this tour!

Derwent River Historic cruise.
Great service, food was lovely, nice cruise along the river. Unfortunately however, we were not able to hear any of the commentary due to an extremely noisy group of travellers who had no regard for their anyone else. No blame can be attached to the operators and we would not hesitate to do it again.

Such an exciting ride!
This was an amazing experience. The tour guides were knowledgeable and funny and made the cruise quite exciting. As it was mid March, the water was quite rough which added to the excitement of the trip. The swells were huge. We saw lots of caves, beautiful rock formations and seals. I highly suggest for anyone. We sat up front which made the ride much rougher, but there was plenty of seating towards the back which helped to limit the roughness. There were many older people sitting in the back enjoying the ride.
