Our guide, Darius arrived on time in a spotless and comfortable car. He was polite and very friendly. He discussed Geological, anthropological, and classical history of Finland. Exactly the right amount of detail. He delivered the information in a discussion style instead of a lecture. We learned a lot about the city and about Finnish culture and people. Great way to see Helsinki and Suomenlinna in one day

We had a few days in Helsinki before a cruise and wanted to see as much as possible. Fortunately, this tour was perfect for that! The tour started on a smallish bus and took us around to some of the major sights around Helsinki. Our guide, Cesar, was very good at bringing it all to life and providing lots of interesting historic details. After a short break for lunch we got on a ferry over to Suomenlinna where we met up with the "sponsored" guide for the island. She took us around to see this interesting island that was once a fort. It was a great afternoon that gave us a thorough overview of Helsinki.

A wonderful mix of lakes, forest and fantastic soup

We joined David's hiking tour in Nuuksio National Park and it was excellent from start to finish. The route was a lovely balance of lakeside views and walking through the woods, and David was incredibly knowledgeable throughout, particularly about the local mushrooms and berries. We were also lucky enough to spot a moose on the drive there, which David told us is extremely rare, so that was a real highlight. The tour finished with a homemade soup that David prepared for us in the woods. It was delicious and the perfect way to end the tour. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Helsinki who wants to experience Finnish nature with a friendly, expert guide.

Our Guide Rachael was great. We had a small group but her care, knowledge of the city and her positivity throughout the tour was refreshing. We had a little rain - so out came some Ponchos etc. My wife and I were glad we took this tour as our stay in Helsinki was brief so it was wonderful to get a "feel" for the city. I would recommend the tour. It was a little like speed dating for us as we flew out that afternoon but our time with this tour and our guide, ,Rachael was a pleasure.

Brilliant day trip to Tallinn

This trip is very well organised. we got picked up from our hotel in a beautiful car, then we were dropped at the ferry terminal. the Ferry itself is like being on a cruise ship. Very smooth sailing and lots of restaurants onboard. When we arrived in Tallinn, our guide was there to pick us up. he drove us to places that we would never have seen if we had just booked the ferry ourselves and walked into the town centre. You get 2 hours free time to explore the centre and get something to eat. we were dropped back at the ferry terminal, boarded the ferry, had another smooth crossing and we were picked up at the other end to be dropped off at our hotel. 100% recommend this tour.

Reindeer Farm Adventure with George

This was such an utterly unique and memorable experience, and we were so grateful for the opportunity to get up close and interact with the reindeer. It was easily one of the highlights of our time in Helsinki. Our guide, George, was an absolute delight — warm, funny, knowledgeable, and wonderful company from start to finish. Somewhere along the way, we also learned that The Carpenters have completely stolen his heart, which somehow made the day even more charming. Great time in the woods, the sauna, and the lake!

Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable, and the combination of an easy going hike, lunch prepared for us in the woods, and Finnish sauna/lake jumping, made for a great day! I highly recommend this experience if you want a taste of the flora of Finland, and an authentic sauna. The hike is fairly flat for most of it, with a few small inclines and some roots and rocks here and there. They accommodated my dietary request for lunch as well.

Suggest getting to the ferry earlier than recommended because it is very crowded. A lot to do on the ferry...eat, shop, music, game rooms.
