Fun Family Day on Grand Turk
The cart was easy to locate outside the port and we were given good instructions on how to drive the vehicle along with a map of Grand Turk.We had a great time going around the island visiting the lighthouse, Cockburn Town and Governor’s Beach. Parking was free everywhere. The cart we hired was very comfortable for 6 people plus our hand luggage and if we visited again would definitely hire a cart from Cactus Carts .

Drive GDT golf cart rental
At Grand Turks we booked a Drive GDT 6 seater golf cart through Viator. Everything went smoothly. The golf cart was there waiting for us. They were very friendly. Gave us a map of the island and pointed out some points of interest. Also said we did not need to fill it back up, it was included in the price, which was a plus. They are located across the parking lot, outside of the cruise port and since one in our party couldn’t walk very far they let us drive their car back through the security gate to pick up the family member, since we couldn’t drive the golf cart through security, which was pretty nice of them. Although the golf cart was slower than everybody else, since we were passed by everyone, it did get us to where we wanted to go. If we go back to Grand Turk we would definitely rent another golf cart through Viator.

Face your Fears and Do It
It was a great experience. Very easy to find them on the beach with no wait time. They provided music and water to make the excursion more enjoyable and comfortable. We also got a chance to see dolphins as they swam with the boat for most of the excursion.

Such a fun day in Grand Turks
We rented two sets of these golf carts for our group and had the best time. The golf cart pick up is just outside the port gates. The crew did a great job explaining the island and gave us maps. We rode around and visited the lighthouse. There are donkey's everywhere that like to eat. Bring cash to tip the guys and to buy donkey food from the locals. We heard the Taco Bar is a cool place. We stopped, ate, drank, and swam in the ocean. Rosa and Deshawna at The Taco Bar were amazing. The rum punch will knock you on your butt. Ha Ha. I would 100% do this again. The pictures are from the view at The Taco Bar.

Ocean adventures abound on Turks and Caicos’ capital island. Go horseback riding on the beach, parasailing for a bird’s eye view of the Atlantic, or diving for conch and snorkeling among colorful corals at the renowned “Amazing Wall.” On land, you can say hello to wild horses and donkeys, dabble in birdwatching, and learn about Grand Turk’s historic salt industry with a local guide. Other Grand Turk tours are totally independent—hop on a golf cart or electric bike to explore Cockburn Town and its surroundings at your own pace.
