What are people saying about Grand Bahama Island

Fun for the whole family
This was the highlight of Freeport! My children, husband and elderly father were all able to easily participate in this. The staff was friendly and ensured everyone had a great time! We were able to hold 4-day old and 7 -day old piglets! It looked like every person there had fun. The only suggestion I have is an option to upgrade this to include a ride to and from the tour. Transportation is not included. Plan to spend half as much as the excursion costs to get there and back. We were afraid we would miss it due to difficulty finding a cab, despite being told cabs werereadily available at the port. A second cruise ship was docked at the same time, which created a huge mess for transportation from the cruise port. I'm glad we made it because the pigs were so much fun!! I recommend d thus tour and would do it again!

Wonderful Day in Freeport!
Two of us booked the small group tour which had a limit of 10 people. When we got off the ship, Charlie was waiting right outside the cruise port gate. We were the only booking so ended up with a private tour! Charlie was friendly, knowledgeable and very accommodating. We visited Lucaya National Park, the caves, the pristine fine sand beaches, the Conch graveyard, a wonderful spot for lunch where we enjoyed fresh conch fritters, conch chowder, mahi sandwiches and ice cold beers. We ended at a small market where I was able to locate a conch shell on silver to hang on my necklace. A wonderful day. Highly recommend!

Great place to spend a day!
We had a great time at Paradise Cove. Found the bus off the port easily upon disembarkation. Mr. Parker, who drove the bus, was friendly and knowledgeable. Upon arrival at Paradise Cove, you check in, get your gear, and attend a brief safety meeting where they go over the do's and do not's of snorkeling in the different zones. We swam all the way out to the rocks and beyond, which is a workout. The snorkeling is very good in all of the zones. We saw all kinds of fish, sea turtles, and even a shark in the deeper water. There were some small jellies in the water which they warned us about but none of us got stung. After snorkeling, we hung out on the beach for a while. Drinks are very reasonably priced ($2 sodas, $5 beers). We would definitely go back! Only caveat to this excursion is there is no lifeguard, so it's swim at your own risk, and like I said it is a workout so someone in bad physical condition could have some problems, but anyone in basic good heath/weight/cardio would do fine.

Hassle-free and accommodating
Arrived to the airport and the bus company had a representative holding a sign with my name. Two of my traveling buddies got delayed a day and the company was able to accommodate that no problem. Was also able to request a later pick-up cause we don’t like to wait a billion years at the airport for flights. Hassle-free and accommodating. Would recommend. Drivers friendly too!
