Beautiful highlands with the best tour guide!

Our tour guide, Harry was very knowledgeable about the Highlands and did a great job sharing his knowledge throughout the tour. On our way back from the Highlands, we were running on schedule, but one of the travellers was worried about being late for a restaurant reservation. Since not everyone had access to a phone to make the call (only had data), Harry took the time to contact the restaurant himself to help her out. I really appreciated his thoughtfulness and willingness to go the extra mile. The spots we stopped at were beautiful and the views were amazing. Although we made several stops, I wish we had more time to explore and enjoy each location. We only stayed in Glasgow for a couple days and wanted to explore as much as we could so this was perfect. If you're short on time in Glasgow and want to see the highlights of the Highlands, I would recommend this tour. If you prefer to spend more time at each stop and explore the area at a slower pace, I would suggest choosing a different tour.

Energetic and informative roadtrip

Our guide and driver Jack was A1. The coach we travelled in was clean and comfortable with a great playlist to capture the rhythm and vibe of Scotland. We visited picture perfect Lough Lomond, Glencoe and Loch Ness in a day of seasons - bring your umbrella. The rain added to the serenity of the Highlands and returned safely to Glasgow! Jack was witty, knowledgeable and passionately Caledonian!

Discovering Scotlands Middle with Big Al.

The tour company was Discover Scotland tours . “Big Al” the tour guide was excellent with a knowledgeable and interesting commentary. He kept us informed and entertained, even when there was a traffic jam that added an extra hour on our trip. The Loch Ness cruise was an extra expense, but worth it. There were frequent, well-planned toilet stops and photo opportunity stops. The bus was very comfortable with good lumber support seats.

Fantastic tour

Best tour in Europe

Absolutely the best tours we been on in all Europe (not just Scotland). Dave (our guide, diver) was amazing, knowledgeable and dry sense of humor (which we love). He took us out of Glasgow and showed us as much Highlands as possible in one day at a very good pace. Never rushed us. Potty breaks as needed. Photoshoot stops - rainbow pic stop. When he took us to Glenfinnan for Harry Potter Bridge- he even told us best spot, direction train will come and even let us borrow his Elder wand. Tour is exactly how we love to travel-I can't plan it better then these peep.

Graeme is an excellent guide!

Great trip. Graeme was our guide and he was excellent. He learned a little about each of us and tried to tailor conversations to us. His knowledge of Scotland and the area was unbelievable. Even better, he had us laughing almost the entire trip. I have been on many other tours with other companies and Graeme was by far the best I’ve ever had. I highly recommend.

Breathtaking 5 Star 3 Day Tour!

ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC TOUR! Honestly can’t say enough - everything was perfect: ease of pickup, comfort within the small 16 passenger coach, spectacular itinerary, homey accommodations in the town of Portree with the sweetest hosts, and the star of the adventure…..our guide Jim! He expertly maneuvered that coach van through the sometimes tricky highland roads like a true professional. He was pleasant and extremely knowledgeable - all with a wee bit of Scottish humor and a fine kilt! My husband and I came to trust in and rely on Jim for just about everything! Great day in the Highlands!!

It was our wedding anniversary so my wife and I elected to take a private tour, it was a bit more expensive but it was so worth it. Our guide Ryan was super nice, very informative and just made the day easy. We saw some great sites and the stops are nicely paced so you see a lot without feeling rushed. If you just have a day and want to experience the highlights of the highlands I would highly recommend this tour!!

Glencoe

Taylor and Blair were friendly, informative, and funny. Taylor did a fabulous job of driving the bus and giving great insight about the landmarks and relevant people that were tied to them. They were very accommodating and reworked the schedule to see the train cross the track (it was not the steam train but that’s out of their control). They added Scottish music to listen to on the bus which was a really nice touch. We also loved our fun surprise at the end!
